Sree Uthradom Thiurnal Academy of Medical Sciences, Trivandrum

founded in 2006, is a famous medical college. SUT Academy claims that within a decade, it would be the highest medical college in Southern India, with contemporary facilities and a professor in a tranquil location near Nedumangad city's municipal borders, attracting individuals from all over the country. This institution's purpose is to "empower next generation health care professionals via excellence and innovation in medical education, medical research, patient care, and community outreach to become an exceptional medical and research institution of international reputation." The National Medical Committee has authorised this medical college, which is connected with Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur (NMC).

Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

About Hospital:

The campus's SUT Specialty Hospital, which has 470 beds, was founded in 1987 by E. K. Nayanar, the former Prime Minister of Kerala, during a period when higher education institutions in this region of the nation were lacking. The facility began with complete interventional cardiology and open heart surgery capabilities. This is where Kerala's first coronary bypass operation on a beating heart takes place. In 1988, the first Mitral Valvuloplasty was done here for the second time. The hospital chose to start a new medical college, which is today growing into a medical learning and practise centre. Sri.Moogambigai Charitable and Educational Trust now manage the hospital and campus.

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.

Sree Uthradom Academy of Medical Sciences is located in Vencod Junction, Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala's capital state, on the Vattappara to Nedumangad Road. Mahatma Gandhi dubbed the city "Green City of India," and it is one of India's oldest cities.

The college is 13 kilometres from the city centre and provides 24-hour local transportation that can get you there in 30 minutes. Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station, India's largest and best-connected railway station, is 16 kilometres from the campus and takes 30 minutes to reach. Thiruvananthapuram has an international airport with domestic and international terminals, which is 20 kilometres away and takes 45 minutes to go to.
