College Description

The prominent government medical institution, Rajashree Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj, was founded in the year 2000. Institutional greatness is defined by a college's culture and reputation, as well as its work ethic, education, and innovation. Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

Admission Eligibility:

If you want to get an MBBS, you must take the National Qualification and Entry Examination (NEET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after you finish grade 12. All government, private, intermediate, and tertiary universities will be based on NEET schools, and seats will be granted on an advising basis based on merit results/standards, college preferences, and available seats.

Infrastructure:

The wonderful city of Kholapur is home to the Rajashree Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj medical college. This college has a magnificent campus that spans 40 acres and is lush green during the monsoon. The site features a tiny lake known as "Shenda Lake," which is located near the boy's hostel building. Five boy’s hostel buildings, huge sports pitch (football and cricket), a mess, a gym, Dean Bungalow, and a very spacious college building make up the campus. The institution also has a dormitory on campus that provides enough care for students and feels like a home away from home. General Medicine, library, sports complex, labs, Auditorium, and many more facilities are available on campus to meet the needs and requirements of students. It offers a variety of services such as data input, power, and OPAC-related access to its broader collection. The student provides a nice living area as well as a separate study room for the staff inside the classroom. It also contains internet-connected computers, and the college's lecture halls have audio equipment, a projector, an LCD projector, a slide projector, and a microphone. Officially, all teaching halls are shared by all departments.

The hospital is a huge state-owned facility with about 750 beds, 1200-1500 inpatient patients per day, and births per day, and accidents/emergencies that aid virtually 24/7. 500 patients per day, 15-bed ICU, Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, 10 operating rooms, Cardiovascular Unit, AKD Unit, Trauma Unit, Surgery Unit performing simple and advanced surgery, well-equipped Radiology department, Blood Bank, Hematology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, and Forensic Laboratories.
