Narayan Medical College, Dehri on Sone

is a famous medical school that was founded in 2008. The theme of "Hamara Sapna Swasth Bharat Ho Apna" at Narayan Medical College & Hospital has always been healing, with the philosophy of making India indiscriminate not only by treating patients in our hospital, but also by graduating doctors and graduates every year who will spread throughout India to make India healthy. The College was founded with the goal of becoming a health-care utopia. This is a postsecondary institution that serves three purposes: education, service, and research. The institution offers a space to learn and create via health professionals and health sciences, as well as complete medical treatment, in addition to medical degrees. The National Medical Committee has authorised this medical college, which is associated with Veer Kunwar Singh University (NMC).

 

Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

Admission Eligibility:

A student seeking admission to a post-graduate programme must have earned an MBBS from a recognised university. Then, as per Section 10 (D) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single admission test to various MD/MS Courses.

Infrastructure:

The Narayan Medical College is located in the lovely city of Dehri in Bihar. The college is situated on a five-acre plot of land surrounded by beautiful flora. . The institution provides students with a fantastic learning environment in which they may study, observe, practise, and perfect the necessary abilities. The centre has its own vast campus where intellectual members and residents may stay. For males and girls, there are separate hostels. Non-teaching personnel can stay in the same place as the teaching staff. There are several leisure facilities on campus, as well as a playground with student sports equipment. There are both indoor and outdoor sporting facilities. The facility intends to provide low-cost medical care to the poor and needy in Rohtas and the neighbouring areas, including Bihar and Jharkhand districts.

More than 650 hospital beds are available at the campus's hospital. The greatest number of patients per day can be seen in an OPD using a computer registration system. General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology (Eye), Pediatrics, Psychiatry, TB & Chest, Dermatology, Dentistry, Neuro-Surgery, Cardiology, Urology, Nephrology, and Gastroenterology all have OPD. All contemporary conveniences are available.

The hospital's emergency services, which include OT, Blood Bank, Pharmacy, Ambulance, Radiology, and other diagnostic labs, are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The hospital features a distinct and functional ICU, ICCU, NICU, PICU, SICU, RICU, and Burn ICU to care for severely sick patients. The hospital provides emergency care 24 hours a day, which is extremely beneficial to the community. All diagnostic centres in pathology, biochemistry, and microbiology, for example, are located inside the research unit. X-Rays, digital X-Rays, mobile X-Rays, USGs, MRI, CT scans, and mammography are all available at the Radiology Department. The hospital has built an OT complex with ten well-equipped surgical theatres that include laparoscopy, endoscopy, arthroscopy, lithotripsy, and other surgical procedures.  All departments such as Surgery, Eye, ENT, Gyane, Ortho etc. The hospital is also equipped with state-of-the-art Cath Lab to care for Invasive Cardiology procedures such as Angiography, Angioplasty, PPI etc.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counseling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.
