Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Medical School of Father Muller, is one of Bangalore's oldest hospitals, located approximately one kilometre from the National Highway-17, Mumbai-Mangalore Highway near Kankanady, Mangalore. This Medical College campus has grown to almost 93,000 square metres. The college buildings cover around 48,000 square metres, including distinct Hostel and residential complex blocks. Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
