Chengalpattu Medical College

is a famous medical institution that was founded in 2006. In 2008, the Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (CARE) was designated as a Recognized University under Section 3 of the UGC Act of 1956, and have since made important contributions to society as a higher education institute. This medical institution was founded with the goal of providing transformative education to individuals so that they can become responsible, empathetic global citizens who contribute to a sustainable future. It also allows students to imbibe values, cultivate a desire for lifelong learning, and maximise their potential by establishing a network of activities.  Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

Admission Eligibility:

A student seeking admission to a post-graduate programme must have earned an MBBS from a recognised university. Then, as per Section 10 (D) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single admission test to various MD/MS Courses.
