Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. The ACSR Government Medical College campus spans 67 acres and includes 26,271 square metres of college buildings. Lecture Hall:

Nellore Medical College has four lecture halls, each having a seating capacity of 180 students, while the hospital has one lecture hall with a seating capacity of 200. About Hospital:

The Nellore Government Medical College Hospital is 15,823 square metres in size, featuring a Maternal and Child Health Care Block of 9,488 square metres. There are 750 teaching beds at this hospital. There are 373 nurse personnel available. More than 1200 outpatients attend each day, and 85 percent of the inpatient beds are occupied. This is a well-known government hospital that provides excellent medical care in Nellore and the neighbouring areas.

The 750 beds are divided among the several medical departments. The Paediatrics unit contains 90 beds, while General Medicine and General Surgery both have 180 beds. There are 90 beds in the Orthopaedics department, 30 beds in the ophthalmology department, and 30 beds in the ENT department. There are 90 beds in the obstetrics and gynecology department.
