ODISHA JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION NEET COUNSELLING- 2021:

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Cell has published the Odisha NEET counselling schedule for 2021. The registration procedure for Odisha NEET counselling 2021 began on January 12th, according to the Odisha NEET counselling 2021 dates. The deadline to apply online for Odisha MBBS/BDS admissions in 2021 is January 18 at 11:59 p.m. In the above-mentioned schedule, candidates can pay the registration cost and upload documents for online verification. On January 24, a tentative merit list of registered applicants will be released.

On behalf of the Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Bhubaneswar, the OJEE Cell will conduct admissions to MBBS/BDS programmes at colleges across the state. Admission to the 85 percent state quota MBBS/BDS seats given by the state's government and private universities will be performed through counselling. Odisha NEET 2021 counselling will take place in three stages. Only if any seats remain open after the third round of Odisha NEET counselling 2021 will a mop-up round be held. Odisha MBBS 2021 counselling will be held for admission to roughly 1950 MBBS and 363 BDS seats in private and government colleges around the state.

Odisha NEET Counselling 2021: Eligibility Criteria

  Only Indian nationals, OCIs, NRIs, and PIOs are eligible to apply for Odisha NEET 2021 counselling.

  Qualifications: Applicants must have completed class XII or equivalent with core courses of physics, biology, chemistry, and English.

  To apply for Odisha MBBS/BDS 2021 counselling, the applicant must have passed the NEET 2021 examination. Those who have not taken the NEET 2021 exam or have not passed it will be unable to participate in the counselling procedure.

Applicant must be a resident of the state of Odisha. The following are exceptions to this rule:

• Children of workers of the Odisha State Government • Children of Government of India officials stationed in Odisha

Reservation: The following is the reservation policy for Odisha NEET counselling:

• STs (Scheduled Tribes): 12%

• Scheduled Casting (SC) 8%

• 3% of the population is physically challenged (PC).

• Ex-Servicemen (ES) make up 3% of the population.

Registration and application process

Candidates must register on the official website of OJEE to participate in Odisha NEET 2021 counselling. The release of the NEET result is frequently followed by registrations. The application procedure may be broken down into six steps:

1. Online registration with a valid email address, phone number, and NEET 2021 roll number

2. Logging in using credentials generated during online registration

3. Filling out the Odisha NEET 2021 counselling application form

4. Photograph, signature, and thumb imprint scanned photos to be uploaded

5. Paying the application cost and submitting the application over the internet

6. Obtaining a printout of the completed Odisha NEET 2021 application form

Verification of the documents

This is a non-interactive procedure. Candidates select a verification centre after filling out the registration form for Odisha NEET 2021 counselling. They must then report to this verification centre, bringing all of their documentation with them (in original). Candidates will get a confirmation slip after successful verification. This slip must be kept for future reference.

State Merit List

The OJEE Cell will produce a list of candidates who are qualified for the counselling procedure when the document verification is finished. Candidates who were unable to complete the document verification process will be removed from the list. The qualified applicants will be ranked on the state merit list depending on their NEET 2021 performance.

Choice filling and locking

Candidates who have been selected from the state merit list for Odisha NEET 2021 counselling will be allowed to fill up and lock their choices. There is no limit to how many options a candidate may select on this form. As a result, they are instructed to fill in as many options as possible. If a candidate does not lock their options after filling them out, they will not be considered for seat allocation.

Seat allotment list

The OJEE Cell will allot seats to eligible applicants based on the selections made by candidates and their position on the state merit list. Each round's seat allocation list will be issued individually. Those who have been assigned a seat and want to continue with the institution must come to the institute before the deadline.
