Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore

is a famous medical school that was founded in 1999. In the year 2009, the Yenepoya Medical College was designated as a constituent college of Yenepoya University (a deemed-to-be university under section 3(A) of the UGC Act 1956 as per notification number F 9-11/2007 U-3 dated February 27, 2007). With effect from the Academic Year 2011, the Medical Council of India allowed the College to accept 150 students to the MBBS Course. This medical college aspires to be one of the country's top medical schools, based on our education, scientific research, and health-care delivery. We strive to provide outstanding clinical care that is both comprehensive and affordable, and delivered compassionately, appropriately, responsibly, and efficiently. This medical college is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and is approved by the National Medical Committee (NMC).

Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NTA) .

A student seeking admission to a post-graduate programme must have earned an MBBS from a recognised university. Then, as per Section 10 (D) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single admission test to various MD/MS Courses.

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.
