Vinayaka Mission Medical College, Karaikal

is part of the Vinayaka Mission Research Foundation Deemed to be University, which was founded in 1969. By our Founder Chairman, (Late) Dr.A.Shanmugasundaram, a noble philanthropist and educator with outstanding vision in the area of education who founded Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation - Deemed to be University. In 2003, the Medical Council of India (MCI), the Ministry of Health, and the Government of India granted Vinayaka medical college and hospital permanent status. With a mission to educate students, residents, and other trainees in medical professional and graduate programmes to become successful and leading team of healthcare leaders, clinicians, researchers, and educators, the institution has a vision to advance human health through excellence in medical education, delivering patient-centered services, transformative research, technologically advanced medical education, and exceptional clinical and preventive care, leading a team of healthcare leaders, clinicians, researchers, and educators, and leading a team of healthcare leaders, clinicians, researchers, and educators. The National Medical Committee has accepted this medical college, which is linked with Vinayaka's Mission Research Foundation declared to be University, Salem (NMC).

Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NTA) .

The bed capacity at Gulbarga Hospital was 84.87%. There are 100 beds for general surgery, 45 orthopaedic beds, 15 ENT beds, 15 Ophthalmology beds, 100 General Medicine beds and more. The preoperative case consists of 4 beds, and the postoperative cases have 40 beds. There are 33 beds in the intensive care unit.

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.

The city is well connected by road and rail networks, with the Karaikal bus station about 3 kilometres away and a 13-minute walk from the campus.
