Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Admission Eligibility:

The lovely city of Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, is home to Sri Venkateswara Medical College. This Medical College is situated on 194 acres of beautiful green, environmentally favourable land. His college building has an area of 22,286 square metres, and a development site covering more than 97,000 square metres is accessible for residential and medical structures. There are a variety of basic rooms for boys and girls, each with an associated bathroom and waiting area, ranging in size from 33 to 336 square metres. 

Examination Halls:

There are three test halls accessible, one of which is 1700 sqm in size and has 400 seats. The remaining two halls, each with 250 residential quarters, are located on a 500-square-meter construction plot. Each of the College's four teaching halls has a capacity of 200 students. Library:

The Central Library of Sri Venkateswara Medical College is 3200 square metres in size and has air conditioning. Here you will find five study rooms, a stack room, and work rooms. Hostel:

The SVMC dormitory and residence building are located on the college campus and cover an area of 47,554 square metres. There are dormitories for both boys and girls, as well as a PG hostel. There are 299 completely equipped living units and facilities in the Boys Hostel. There are 402 beds and services at the girls' hostel. The Interns Student Hostel contains 40 rooms and the postgraduate hostel accommodates more than 200 PG students with good facilities. There is a nursing home with 56 rooms that can house 320 pupils. This is a college housing complex that houses educators and teachers. These hostels and other lodging options provide a sanitary canteen and comfy eating systems. Other facilities include a visitor room, an air-conditioned study room with computer and Internet access, and a recreation area with TV, music, and indoor games.

Sports:

The College has an 8-hectare outdoor sports field. There are five playgrounds available for men and two for female students. Cricket, Soccer, Volleyball, Tennis, Hockey and more. Outdoor sports facilities are available. Indoor sports facilities are available with all the necessary necessities. The gymnasium is provided with all kinds of equipment for staff and students.

Hospital Facilities:

The OPD block of Sri Venkateswara Medical College Teaching Hospital has an area of more than 49,900 sq.mt. There are around 2,250 untreated patients that come here for treatment, and there are 960 beds available from the appropriate medical department, with 95 percent of the beds being used as inpatients. Both male and female patients have their own dressing rooms, injection rooms, and concrete chambers. The hospital beds are divided into the medical departments listed below.

Beds Distribution:

There are 220 beds in general medicine and 217 beds in general surgery, 150 beds in Paediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynecology, and 137 beds in Orthopaedics. More than 220 beds are available in the departments of TB and Respiratory Medicine, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, and ENT.

Other Services:

The pathology department oversees this medical college and the hospital laboratory, which conducts over 1000 daily tests. In the fields of Haematology, microbiology, and biochemistry, several laboratory components are accessible. There are 26 operating rooms accessible at the facility. General surgery, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and emergency departments are all served by 23 main surgical theatres. There are three operating theatres available, each having a modest operating theatre. The critical care unit is equipped with all of the essential equipment. The ICCU has five beds, the ICU has fourteen, the SICU has eight, the NICU has eight, and the PICU has thirty-nine.

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.
