Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

Admission Eligibility:

A student seeking admission to a post-graduate programme must have earned an MBBS from a recognised university. Then, as per Section 10 (D) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single admission test to various MD/MS Courses.

Sree Balaji Medical College Hospital covers an area of 86,500 square metres and has 1120 beds. More than 3000 outpatients come here, resulting in improved medical treatment in the surrounding communities. The largest emergency room is at SBMCH. A specialised intensive care unit with over 60 emergency beds and the newest monitoring and ventilation technology offers life-saving care to many severely sick patients. The new-born care centre takes pride in rescuing preterm newborns with complicated medical problems. Patients with heart illness and neurovascular disorders are treated in Neuro and Special Heart ICUs.

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
