Shymanuru Shivashankarappa Medical College, Davanagere

was founded in 1958 and is a prominent private institution. SSIS is dedicated to the development of a sensitive, autonomous, and debatable medical approach that is flexible enough to educate students for a changing future while also emphasising the relevance of established techniques and processes. About Hospital:

The campus hospital has 720 teaching beds. It contains 13 major operation theatres that perform an average of 32 major surgeries per day, as well as six minor operation theatres that do 70 lesser procedures each day. The hospital permits 1503 outpatients every day, according to the assessment report. The hospital features a division for medical records, which is entirely computerised. Every 100 kilometres along the National Highway, trauma facilities opened to provide rapid and efficient medical access. The hospital building's outpatient department, medical department wards, emergency department, operation theatres, central laboratory, blood bank, pharmacy, and canteen, among other things, were all under construction.
