Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Science, Raipur

is a well-known medical institution that was founded in 2016. It is owned by SHRI GANGAJALI EDUCATION SOCIETY, which has members who are outstanding technocrats and educators. The organisation has all of the resources necessary to run a medical college in strict accordance with the MCI's processes, regulations, and recommendations. In the area, the Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Sciences is the first medical centre in India to be named after Adi-Shri Shankaracharya and blessed by all Jagadgurus present. This medical school was founded with the goal of serving humanity. We have a strong sense of social duty, human values, and environmental sensitivity. Not only do we strive to train the students to become excellent doctors, thinkers and leaders of the society, but also help them to mould themselves into better human beings. This medical college is affiliated with Chhattisgarh Ayush and Health Science University and is approved by the National Medical Council (NMC).

Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

About Hospital:

Several beded facilities are available at the campus's hospital. The hospital building's outpatient department, medical department wards, emergency department, operation theatres, central laboratory, blood bank, pharmacy, and canteen, among other things, were all under construction. Within the hospital facility, there are night and day ambulance, pharmacy, and blood bank services, and an average of 600-700 patients receive OPD care each day. The hospital's primary goal is to aid humanity. The institution has a strong sense of social responsibility, human values, and environmental awareness. Health Care Services: - Medical services range from simple cold, virus, and minor injury treatment at less complete institutions to comprehensive lab tests, X-rays, specialists, and pharmacies at the most comprehensive centers. Counseling services are available in many campus health Programmed.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counseling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.

In the state of Chhattisgarh, Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Science, Bhilai is located. Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur, is the closest airport to the centre, located 53.6 kilometres away, and students may reach the campus in around 1 hour and 30 minutes. The 4.5-kilometer Bhilai Railway Station is the closest railway station to SSIS, and students may walk from the station to the campus in around 10-15 minutes.
