Admission Eligibility:

the student looking for admission to this college must complete 17 years of age till 31st December of the admission year. All Higher Secondary School Students with 10+2 in science subject including Biology or Biotechnology along with Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible (In case of SC/ST, 40% in board exams; 45% for OBC Category). It is also compulsory for the students to qualify in the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

Library:

SSS Medical College's Air-Conditioned Library spans 3750 square meters and houses over 9025 medical sciences books. This college library contains a separate reading room with a seating capacity of 300 people, as well as a reference section for students and faculty. For the use of college students, the library includes 40 computer desktops with internet connection. With varied collections of medical books, periodicals, CD-ROM, CDs, DVDs, bound volumes, Audio Video Cassettes, Thesis, Dissertation with CD Text Books, and subscriptions to 56 Indian and 24 international journals, the central library gives a rich learning experience. On all working days, the library is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Laboratory:

Biochemistry, Serology, Haematology, Parasitology, Histo-Pathology, Cyto-Pathology, Pathology, Microbiology, and Research Laboratories are among the well-equipped laboratories at SSS Medical College.

Cafeteria:

The Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute has two cafeterias, one for staff and the other for students, both located on the college grounds and equipped with modern culinary equipment. This cafeteria has its own distinct dining hall for workers, students, and visitors.

Sports Facilities:

Sports activities are available at SSS Medical College. This College offers indoor and outdoor games such as cricket, football, basketball, chess, and ball-badminton, as well as athletic games. In both the boys and girls hostels, there are gym facilities.

Hostel Facilities:

Students, who require dormitory accommodations for boys and girls, as well as mess and laundry facilities, can do so at Shri Sathya Sai Medical College and Research Institute. The Hostel is a separate dormitory for boys and girls located on the college grounds, with 318 rooms for boys and 286 rooms for girls. The male and female wardens are in charge of all of the hostels. The Hostel is connected to a mess with a dining hall, which serves students with clean and nutritional meals. Each hostel features 24-hour security, a study area with internet and Wi-Fi, indoor games, a leisure hall, a prayer hall, and a separate visitor’s hall. The college hostel offers R.O. purified drinking water as well as daily newspapers in both English and Tamil.

Anti- Ragging: - Any disorderly behaviour, whether via words said or written, or by an act, that has the effect of taunting, treating, or dealing a fresher or junior student with rudeness.

Health Care Services: - Medical services range from simple cold, virus, and minor injury treatment at less complete institutions to comprehensive lab tests, X-rays, specialists, and pharmacies at the most comprehensive centers. Counseling services are available in many campus health Programmes.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counselling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: -  A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.
