Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Science, Dehradun

is a famous medical and health science institute that was founded in 2006. The success of Sajama Nash in Sri Mahant Devendra Das Ji, who succeeded the Udaseen Sect, inspired this medical college. Sri Guru Ram Rai ji Maharaj, the oldest son of the seventh Suru- Sri Har Raiji, was the inspiration for the center's name. Shri Guru Ram Rai Ji established his DERA in the village of Doon, which subsequently became known as DEHRA, and therefore Dehradun owes its name and history to the advent of Sri Guru Ram Raiji's "Dear" in Dehradun in 1676. With state-of-the-art facilities, this institution aspires to become the number one health care provider in northern India. The National Medical Committee has authorised this medical college, which is connected with Shri Guru Ram Rai University (NMC).

Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET).

A student seeking admission to a post-graduate programme must have earned an MBBS from a recognised university. Then, as per Section 10 (D) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single admission test to various MD/MS Courses.
