SMBT Institute of Medical College

is a famous private institution that was founded in 2014. Making SMBT institutions one of the most trusted and regarded organizations in the fields of health care education, training, and delivery. To educate and teach our students to offer high-quality "purposeful" health-care services in the communities they will serve and to grow into trusted and respected members of society over time. To make our patients aware of their entire health and to take all necessary precautions to provide the most efficient and effective delivery of quality health care.  Addressing our workers' "Learning and Growth" goals, as well as the educational and health-care requirements of the entire community. The plan is to create a new charter for trained medical professionals who will also be taught the fundamentals of selfless service and adherence to best practices. The SMBT Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Center in Igatpuri, Maharashtra, is a fresh step in the right direction. The Medical Council of India has authorized SMBT Institute of Medical College, which is associated with Maharashtra University of Health Science Nashik (MCI).

Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET).

Admission Eligibility:

If you want to get an MBBS, you must take the National Qualification and Entry Examination (NEET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after you finish grade 12. All government, private, intermediate, and tertiary universities will be based on NEET schools, and seats will be granted on an advising basis based on merit results/standards, college preferences, and available seats.

In Maharashtra's famed city of Nandi Hills, the SMBT Institute of Medical College is located. This school is situated on a large plot of beautiful green, ecologically friendly land. The SMBT Institute of Medical Science and Research Center has a vast facility developed after reviewing all of the processes put forth by various government bodies and councils. Following are the resources available at the college. The SMBT Institute of Medical Science and Research Center has an administrative block, a lecture theatre with audio-visual aids, a staff room, a central library, general labs, departmental labs, a college council room, a departmental laboratory, a recording room, and a playground.  Inside the digital part of the SMBT Institute of Medical Science and Research Centre, 40 computers with internet access are available for users to access up-to-date learning resources for teaching and studying. It has an audio-visual area, a CD room, and DVD players for people to examine different print types. Each department of the SMBT Institute has its own museum. Mounted and uncounted specimens, wet and dry models, articulated and disarticulated bone sets, catalogues, and charts are all on display in the museum. A certified technician looks after these. 

Hostel:

SMBT Medical College offers a variety of hostel options for both females and boys. There are 112 rooms for boys and 116 rooms for females in the hostel, with each room housing three people. Guest rooms, an air-conditioned classroom, an internet computer, and a lounge with TV, music, and house games are all available at the SMBT hostel. Hostels were related to pollution and offered a clean environment.

Sports:

For the convenience of students and guests, the hostel campus provides a bicycle parking facility. SMBT Medical College has a variety of sports Programmes with plenty of playing fields. Cricket, basketball, volleyball, football, kho-kho, and Kabaddi are some of the outdoor activities. There is a table tennis area, carom, and chess, among other things, in the indoor stadium.

Hospital Facilities:

On a daily basis, the SMBT Medical College and Hospital sees about 1210 untreated patients. There are 650 beds at the hospital, as well as nine large operating theatres, two tiny operating theatres, and a five-bed critical care unit. Every day, 62 procedures are performed in modular operation theatres. Specialist services, Diagnostic Service, and specialized services are available at SMBT Hospital. The hospital is well-known in northern Maharashtra as the largest charity hospital. Cardiology, Oncology, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Nephrology, Neurology, and Pediatric Surgery are among the highly specialized services provided by SMBT Medical College and Hospital. A dialysis department with radiologic and pathology services, a blood bank, endoscopic and laparoscopic surgery, and emergency day and night services are among the hospital's other services. Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Gynecology & OBS, ENT, Psychiatric, and Pulmonary Medicine are among the hospital's specialties (TB & Chest).

Nashik, Maharashtra is home to SMBT Medical College. Nashik has excellent road and rail connections. The Gandhinagar Airport in Nasik is 28.3 kilometres away and a 49-minute walk from the campus. The medical college is 24.9 kilometres from the Nashik railway station. An hour's walk from the central CBS bus station to the SMBT medical college was 42 kilometres.
