Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Qualifying for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination is also required of students (NEET).

Admission Eligibility:

If you want to get an MBBS, you must take the National Qualification and Entry Examination (NEET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after you finish grade 12. All government, private, intermediate, and tertiary universities will be based on NEET schools, and seats will be granted on an advising basis based on merit results/standards, college preferences, and available seats.

Infrastructure:

Library:

UG and PG students and staff utilize the central library, which is completely air-conditioned. In different rooms, the Central Library can accommodate 400 undergraduate students, 300 graduate students, and 50 staff members. The library's reading room is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Every day, the library is open for three shifts and has enough employees. The library has a total of 21818 books. In addition, 117 publications have been subscribed to, including 65 international journals and 52 Indian journals. 

TV, VCR, and photocopying machines, as well as the Internet and Mettler, a 50-degree air-conditioned computer lab and an audiovisual room with 1754 CD / DVDs are available in the Central Library. There is a library and a lecture room for each department. There are enough volumes in departmental libraries for teaching staff and students to utilize.

Examination & Lecture Theatre:

The Medical College features six air-conditioned gallery-style lecture halls, but the Hospital only has one. Each has a 300-student capacity. One of these is a centrally air-conditioned lecture theatre with seating for 650 people and complete audiovisual capabilities. There are lecture halls with advanced audiovisual aids such as LCD projectors and audio systems, chalkboards, overhead projectors, and internet access. A separate Examination hall with a capacity of 1250 students is available. With 760 square metres of land, a gallery-style central air-conditioned theatre can seat up to 500 people and is fully equipped with audiovisual amenities.

Facilities:

The Medical College includes four presentation rooms, each with a capacity of 60-75 students, for all disciplines. Small group instruction, tutorials, and demonstrations are all done using them. For UG and PG students, each department has its own lab. They have all of the necessary instruments and facilities to provide practical skills and information.

Hostel:

Undergraduate students are housed in different hotels, with 400 guys and 594 girls. There are also 468 rooms available for postgraduate students. A flat-style living quarters for 125 professors, associate professors, and assistant professors is available. A total of 120 nurses will be accommodated. Boys and girls have separate common areas with bathroom facilities.

It also contains separate facilities for instructors and a mess and eating hall that can accommodate up to 720 pupils at a time. There is a cafeteria that can hold up to 70 people at a time.

Recreation Facilities:

The SKBS Campus offers a sports playground with all of the essential accoutrements and equipment for games including football, volleyball, and cricket. Indoor activities such as table tennis, carrom, and chess are also accessible in student common areas and dormitories. The hostel also has a fully equipped gymnasium for students' health and fitness.

It also has enough non-technical staff to give students an environment conducive to self-learning. An M.N.R. About Hospital:

The Dhiraj Regular Hospital has 1065 beds in general wards and intensive care sections. The hospital offers advanced diagnostic services, including CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasounds, and digital x-rays. Septic Labor Room (SLR) and Clean Workroom (CLR) (SLR). All patients are cared for by a team of resident doctors and nurses who are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, under the supervision and guidance of faculty members. A well-established radiation department is offered, with outpatient and indoor cancer patients receiving treatment.

Departments:

Three times a day, food is served. Tea is also available in the morning and evening. Waste is disposed of according to specified norms, such as the Biomedical Waste Management and Handling Rules, and the premises are kept clean and tidy. On the second level of the hospital, there is a full ICU to provide ICU treatment. There are 28 ICU and ICCU beds, as well as 6 Paediatric ICU beds. At the hospital, there is a licensed blood bank.

Hospital Facilities:

The organisation has 19 contemporary operating rooms where they execute major and small procedures with the latest technology and equipment. Before planned procedures, the pre-anesthesia check (PAC) is done in the PAC room on the OT campus. The basic package also includes the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. On the OT campus, there are 20 beds for patient recuperation.

Student Support:

Anti- Ragging: - Any disorderly behaviour, whether via words said or written, or by an act, that has the effect of taunting, treating, or dealing a fresher or junior student with rudeness.

Health Care Services: - Medical services range from simple cold, virus, and minor injury treatment at less complete institutions to comprehensive lab tests, X-rays, specialists, and pharmacies at the most comprehensive centers. Counseling services are available in many campus health Programmes.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counselling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. Or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.

In the Indian state of Gujarat, SBKS Medical College is located in Vadodara. The city, formerly known as Baroda, is situated 142 kilometres south of Gandhinagar, the state capital, and 121 kilometres south of Ahmedabad. The city is one of the key rail and road arteries connecting Delhi and Mumbai, and the Medical Campus are 18 km from the Vadodara Central Bus Station, with frequent local transportation like as taxis and auto rickshaws taking 45 minutes to reach the college. The institution is 16.4 kilometres from the Vadodara Railway Junction, which is a 30-minute drive. The Vadodara Domestic Airport is 14.3 km distant and takes 30 minutes to reach the campus, whereas the Sardar Vallabhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad is 127 km away and takes 2 hours to reach.
