Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner

is one of the top government medical colleges in India, having been founded in 1959 by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister. Bikaner Medical College was the school's original name, and Bikaner residents eventually donated substantial money. As a result, the name of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, the manufacturer of Modern India, was changed. The UG Indian Medical Council recognised the college in 1964, and it was followed by a PG course such as MD/MS in 1967. A cardiovascular unit was established in 1975 and served as Rajasthan's leading heart care facility. Sardar Patel Medical College is affiliated with Rajasthan University of Health Science and approved by Medical Science of India (MCI).

Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students).
