The MBBS programme at RIMS is affiliated with Raipur's Ayush and Health Sciences University. On 14 July 2010, the Chhattisgarh government issued a Special Certificate (including Sl. No. 17-36 / 2010 / IX / 55) to Lord Buddha Education Society to build a hospital and medical college. This medical institution aspires to create the most comprehensive and cutting-edge health care facilities as well as a welcoming learning environment. Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Night and day Ambulance, Pharmacy, Blood Bank facilities are available within the hospital building and an average of 600-700 patients daily receives OPD treatment.
