Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

The Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Jalandhar, is located in the heart of Punjab's most populous city, Jalandhar, and covers more than 55 acres. It was designated by the Government of Punjab (GOP) in 1999 as the first teaching hospital of a medical college in the Doaba region. The PIMS Society, the PIMS Medical and Education Charitable Society, the Department of Medical Education and Research, and the GOP all regarded PIMS to be the top institution recognised for its arts centres, advanced medical education, and treatment under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. About Hospital:

The campus hospital is an allied hospital with 650 beds for clinical purposes. Every day, 1,500 outpatients are treated at the PIMS Jalandhar Subsidiary Hospital. Jalandhar's PIMS Hospital has roughly 7 operational theatres, comprising 13 large theatres and 5 mini theatres. According to numbers from last year, the PIMS hospital performed 36 major surgery and 03 minor surgeries every day. To promote patient health and well-being, the centre adheres to the highest educational standards and combines therapeutic and investigative skills with an empathetic attitude. A commitment has been made to train doctors and other health professionals who will be able to address local, national, and international medical challenges in public health care.

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.
