Prakash Institute of Medical Science and Research, Sangli

founded in 2014, is a famous private institute. With the involvement of our teaching unit, PIMS focuses on the objective of offering excellent education to students with the purpose of gratifying students. During their formative years, we are developing a class XII student into a trained and capable doctor. We make certain that students obtain not just medical information, but also entire growth and skills that will prepare them for the real world. The Faculty keeps track of students' involvement in teaching, research, sports, and culture. A four-and-a-half-year MBBS programme is followed by a one-year internship. It is connected with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in Nashik and is certified by the Medical Council of India in New Delhi. Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

Prakash Institute of Medical Science and Research is located in the Maharashtra city of Sangli. This Medical College is situated on several acres in a lush green, environmentally friendly setting. A full examination should be undertaken by qualified and trained staff utilizing state-of-the-art equipment under the Central Laboratory services Histopathology, Biochemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, and Cytology. Chemical chemists, Blood Gas Analyses, Hematology cell counter, ELISA student, and Histokinesis facilities were all part of the Pathology Laboratory's cutting-edge technologies. He established a cutting-edge serology, molecular biology, immunology, and tissue culture laboratory. Clinical data was obtained during the fantastic year. Models of care and treatment strategies have been created using this method. Models for comprehensive HIV/AIDS care have evolved throughout time in an integrated way, with the major focus of research on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Dengue, Hepatitis, Malaria, and Toxoplasma.

Library:

In its elegant, air-conditioned buildings, the central library greets you with open arms. It sits on the first floor of a college building with a total floor size of 2450 square metres. It is at a convenient position for students to enhance their learning and learning. It offers two pleasant halls with air conditioning for students and one for staff exclusively. For personal safety, we are available 14 hours a day. In the library, a team of committed employees is ready to serve students. It has a total of 9097 volumes in its library (Text Books-7498, Reference books-1556). It contains 60 journal subscriptions (42 national journals, 18 international journals) as well as a huge number of online publications. There are also 421 CDs and DVDs on hand, as well as a 40-node e-library.

A full-fledged computer lab allows students to understand information technology and the subject matter via hands-on experience. Reference service, limitless internet access, an online national library, photocopying, Wi-Fi, an internet printing service, and newspapers are all accessible. Blood transfusions are an essential component of modern medical treatment. Blood is a unique and priceless gift that no one else can provide. Donors of blood are a valuable resource. Transfusions of entire blood are necessary in modern medicine and have been made possible by the introduction of plastic bags. Because blood is quickly wasted, nutritional categorization and management aid in maintaining a healthy blood supply. The basic goal of segmentation is to give a component that allows you to provide the correct segment to the right patient at the right time with the right quality. The PIMS General Hospital Blood Bank is licensed in a 3600 sq. ft. blood bank, which is enough according to FDA standards. It is well-equipped and has a sufficient number of trained personnel.

Hospital Facilities:

This medical college's hospital is equipped with a number of amenities. The hospital building's outpatient department, medical department wards, emergency department, operation theatres, central laboratory, blood bank, pharmacy, and canteen, among other things, were all under construction.
