Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Qualifying for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination is also required of students (NEET) .

The Nimra Institute of Medical Sciences is located in the lovely city of Vijayawada, in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Nimra Institute of Medical Sciences site features a 2, 40,000-square-foot college building. This campus, which includes a separate hostel and complex residential structures with a total area of 2, 08, 000 square feet and built-in hospital buildings with a huge structure, is fully developed. 

Examination Halls:

There are two 250-square-meter test halls, each accommodating 500 pupils. The Medical College contains three theatres with a total capacity of 200 seats each, as well as one student hall with 200 students and a hospital stay. These lectures come with a wealth of audio and video resources. This medical institution includes a variety of basic rooms for boys and females with adjoining toilets that cost 150 sums apiece.

Library:

The Medical College Library, which is 2600 square metres in size, is absolutely calm and serene. There are 150 seats per room in both indoor and outdoor classroom facilities. Separate hostel accommodations for male and female students, as well as staff housing, are available on the Nimra Institute of Medical Sciences campus. The women's hostel is a three-story structure with a total area of 37,185 square feet with capacity for 228 students. Students are always supervised by security officers in an 8,400-square-foot warden block. Students have access to clean bathrooms and plenty of water. Hospital Facilities:

The NIMRA Medical College Hospital is a 2,20,000-square-foot facility with 420 teaching beds and around 1000 daily medical visits, with patient care centre filling 80 percent of the beds. The high degree of expertise in the care facilities and the high quality of treatment are the characteristics of this hospital. The 420 teaching beds are scattered among the medical department's 19 wards. There are 100 beds in general medicine, 100 beds in general surgery, 60 beds in obstetrics and gynecology, 52 beds in Orthopaedics, 45 beds in Paediatrics, and balance beds in other medical departments. In the medical departments, the hospital has 11 surgical theatres, 9 major theatres, and 2 tiny theatres. Intensive care units (ICU, ICU, and SICU) each feature 5 beds with a variety of equipment, while the NICU/PICU has 7 beds.

Student Support:

Anti- Ragging: - Any disorderly behaviour, whether via words said or written, or by an act, that has the effect of taunting, treating, or dealing a fresher or junior student with rudeness.

Health Care Services: - Medical services range from simple cold, virus, and minor injury treatment at less complete institutions to comprehensive lab tests, X-rays, specialists, and pharmacies at the most comprehensive centers. Counseling services are available in many campus health Programmes.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counselling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.

How to reach us:

The distance between Vijayawada bus station and Nimra Medical College is 17.6 kilometres, and it takes 30 minutes to go through the Vijayawada-Hyderabad Highway and Nimra Hospital. The distance from Vijayawada train station to the medical facility is 18.1 kilometres, with a maximum access time of 30 to 35 minutes while crossing the NH65 to Canal Road at Vijayawada's Kaleswara Rao Market. With a distance of 40.3 kilometres between Vijayawada International Airport and Nimra Medical College, it can be reached in 1 hour from Airport road to NH16 and NH65 to Nimra hospital road.
