Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Admission Eligibility:

The NRI Institute of Medical Sciences is located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, a beautiful city. This Medical College spans 20 acres and has a total built-up area of 9, 00,000 square feet, with all essential infrastructures in place to meet MCI standards. These college buildings cover more than 310,000 square metres, and the college hostel, as well as the residential and hospital structures, are spread out across a total area of roughly 6,00,000 square metres. 

Examination Halls:

The Medical College includes two exam halls, each of which is 400 square metres in size and can seat 300 students. They are distributed around the campus. In the college building, there are four study halls, each having 180 students living in it. In the hospital area, there is one academy with 200 pupils. These lecture halls include audio and video capabilities, as well as being designed in the shape of a gallery with air conditioning. Different quality rooms with a total space of 180 sq.mt per area and linked restrooms are provided for boys and females students. 

Library:

The Central Library of the NRI Medical College is 2,515 square metres in size and is air-conditioned. From 9 a.m. until 10 p.m., this library is open. There are distinct reading rooms on the inside and outside of this library. Each of the 150 pupils can be accommodated in one of the classes. PG students and staff have access to a variety of classrooms. There are 14,296 textbooks and 117 journals available at the Library, with 71 Indian periodicals and 60 international journals. This library's digital library contains 42 computers with Internet access. 

Hostel:

The dormitory and residence complexes of the NRI Institute of Medical Sciences have a total area of 2, 60,000 sq. ft. mt, and they're all on the same campus. Male and female students can stay in a variety of hostels and accommodations at this Medical College. The UG Boys Hostel contains 70 rooms with a total capacity of 210 students. There are 120 rooms in the girls' hostel, which can accommodate 360 students. There are 65 rooms and 130 beds in the PG hostel. There are more than 90 rooms available in various training and nursing hostels. Teaching and non-teaching employees can both stay in the same place. A pleasant dining system provides access to a clean cafeteria. A television lounge, music and indoor sports facilities, and a computer and internet study area are also available in the dormitories.

This teaching hospital has 920 beds available from the relevant medical department and 80% of the beds are always in patient care. This medical college hospital has served nearly 2 million people in the surrounding areas. These Hospital Laboratories have more than 2000 daily tests. Different laboratory components are available in Microbiology, Hematology, and Biochemistry. These hospital beds are divided into male and female patient care in the medical department. General Medicine and General Surgery have 150 beds per person; Pediatric Diseases, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology have 90 beds each. Ophthalmology. TB & Respiratory Medicine, Psychiatry, Dermatology, and the ENT department have 15 beds each. The hospital has 13 operating theaters and 11 major operating theaters. The intensive care unit is available with the necessary resources. ICCU, ICU, SICU, PICU with 5 beds in total, NICU has 10 beds.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counselling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
