NRI Academy of Medical Sciences, Guntur

is a reputable private institute founded in 2003 by a small group of 30 NRI doctors from the United States. NRIAS' principal goal is to encourage quality in medical education and to develop doctors who meet worldwide standards while also delivering inexpensive health care to the poorest people via the utilization of advanced medical facilities. Our purpose is to train physicians who are capable of achieving the most fundamental medical objectives. Until now, our graduate students will have the qualifications they need to fulfill their individual and collective societal duties. Educating medical personnel and scientists. Obtaining new medical knowledge. Develop novel technology to aid in illness prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Provide low-cost health-care services to educational institutions. The Medical Council of India has authorized the NRI Academy of Medical Science, which is associated with NTR University of Health Sciences in Vijayawada (MCI).

Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Qualifying for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination is also required of students (NEET) .

Admission Eligibility:

If you want to get an MBBS, you must take the National Qualification and Entry Examination (NEET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after you finish grade 12. All government, private, intermediate, and tertiary universities will be based on NEET schools, and seats will be granted on an advising basis based on merit results/standards, college preferences, and available seats.

The NRI Academy of Medical Sciences is located in the major city of Guntur in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This medical campus is spread out across 26 acres of beautiful green, environmentally friendly land. These college buildings cover more than 30,000 square metres, and the college hostel, as well as the residence and hospital buildings, is all constructed independently. 

Examination Halls:

The Medical College includes three exhibition rooms totaling 1650 square metres, each of which can hold 250 students and is equipped with CCTV. In the college building, there are a total of four study halls, each with 240 seated pupils. In the hospital building, there is one academy with 300 seats. Air conditioning, as well as audio and video capabilities, is available in these gallery-style lecture halls. Standard rooms with a total space of 400 sq.mt and associated toilets are offered for both boys and females students. 

Library:

This College's Central Library is 3200 square metres in size and has air conditioning. From 8.30 a.m. until 10 p.m., this library is open. This is a home with indoor and outside study spaces. There are 420 seats in the classroom and 200 chairs in the Outdoor Study Room. PG employees and students have access to a variety of classrooms. There are 17,828 textbooks and 117 journals available in the library, with 78 Indian and 39 international periodicals. This library's digital library contains 33 computers with internet access.

 Hostel:

The NRI Academy of Medical Sciences dorm and lodging complexes cover a total area of 38,400 square metres and are located on campus. Male and female students can stay in a variety of hostels and accommodations at this Medical College. The UG Boys Hostel contains 88 individual rooms, 148 for two individuals, and six unique rooms for a total of 390 student beds. The ladies' hostel includes 406 student beds in 88 single rooms, 106 double rooms, and 6 special rooms. There are 65 rooms in the PG hostel. There are a variety of training and nursing hostels accessible. Teaching and non-teaching employees can both stay in the same place. A pleasant dining system provides access to a clean cafeteria. A well-maintained and well-ventilated classroom with computers and internet access is available in all hostels. 

Sports:

This Medical College has a variety of outdoor sports facilities, including volleyball, tennis, cricket, and badminton. Indoor sports facilities are offered for both boys and girls, along with a variety of accommodation options. At both hostels, there is a well-equipped gymnasium.

Hospital Facilities:

The NRI Medical College Teaching Hospital is a 53,800-square-meter facility featuring an OPD building. Approximately 2500 outpatients are treated here. This teaching hospital has 960 beds available from the relevant medical department, with patients caring for 90% of the beds. More than 1,500 tests are performed every day in these hospital laboratories. In Microbiology, Hematology, and Biochemistry, many laboratory components are accessible. In the medical department, these hospital beds are segregated into male and female patient care. Pediatric Diseases, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology each have 120 beds, whereas General Medicine and General Surgery have 210 beds per person. There are 70 beds in ophthalmology. Each of the departments of TB and Respiratory Medicine, Psychiatry, Dermatology, and ENT has 30 beds. The hospital contains 20 operating theatres, 18 of which are large stadiums, and two smaller operating theatres. The critical care unit is equipped with all of the essential equipment. The ICCU has 17 beds, the ICU has 14, the SICU has 14, the NICU has 14, and the PICU has 9.

Student Support:

Anti- Ragging: - Any disorderly behaviour, whether via words said or written, or by an act, that has the effect of taunting, treating, or dealing a fresher or junior student with rudeness.

Health Care Services: - Medical services range from simple cold, virus, and minor injury treatment at less complete institutions to comprehensive lab tests, X-rays, specialists, and pharmacies at the most comprehensive centers. Counseling services are available in many campus health Programmes.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counselling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.

NRI Academy of Science Medical College is located in Chinakakani, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, between Guntur and Vijayawada. Guntur has a vast road network, including national highways, regional roads, and regional roads connecting big areas. NRI Medical College is located 21.5 kilometres from Guntur and may be reached by road via local transportation like as city buses, private vehicle rickshaws, elevators, and minibuses. Travel duration is 30-45 minutes. Guntur Railway Station, located 21 kilometres from the campus, is one of the major railway stations in the province, with daily MEMU and local trains serving commuters, including hundreds of students. The nearest airport is Vijayawada International Airport, which is around 35 kilometres away, and it takes 50 minutes to go the college through NH16 and Trunk Road.
