Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Medical College, Indore

established in 1948, is one of India's oldest government-run medical institutes. The institution is involved in research in a variety of sectors, including medicine, health, and medical education. For the entire development of administrative and institutional education, there are a number of distinct bodies. Committees such as the Disciplinary Committee, the Anti-Fraud Committee, the Cultural Committee, the Research Review Committee, the Scientific Committee, the Medical Education Committee, and so on. Citizens and members of the public publish a huge number of research articles in major national and international publications each year. Frequently, the number of prizes and fellowships obtained is calculated carefully. The National Medical Committee has authorised this medical college, which is associated with Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya (NMC).

Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

A student seeking admission to a post-graduate programme must have earned an MBBS from a recognised university. Then, as per Section 10 (D) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single admission test to various MD/MS Courses.

The Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Government Medical College is located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh's picturesque capital. The campus is on a 30-acre plot with four green gardens, and it will be connected by four lanes and a sufficient number of tiny lanes in the near future. The construction is intended to provide plenty fresh air and a large enough footprint to accommodate all expansion and future requirements. In many aspects, our campus is self-sufficient and well-maintained. In the centre, there are several well-developed gardens, and outside of it, there is a bank, as well as hostels with sports and entertainment facilities. Because our centre is in the heart of the city, all forms of shops and services are within five minutes' walking distance.

College Facilities:

The building will give enough of fresh air as well as a large enough footprint to support all expansion and future needs. Our campus is self-sufficient and well-maintained in many ways. There are numerous well-developed gardens in the centre, as well as a bank and hostels with sports and entertainment facilities on the outskirts. About Hospital:

The Hospital of the campus is equipped with 930 bedded; seven storied fully equipped M.Y. Hospital   affiliated to the college which is providing 24 x 7 services. Other ancillary units of the college like Kalyanmal Nursing Home, Maharaja Tukojirao Hospital, Shaskiya Gyarah Panch Trust Cancer Hospital, Mental Hospital and Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya avum Anusandhan Kendra are providing important timely services to the ailing people in and around Indore. Another feather in the cap of the institution was the starting of a school of Physiotherapy course in 1997 wherein Bachelors in Physiotherapy is being conducted with the Master course in the offing.

Anti- Ragging: - Any disorderly behavior, whether via words said or written, or by an act, that has the effect of taunting, treating, or dealing a fresher or junior student with rudeness.

Health Care Services: - Medical services range from simple cold, virus, and minor injury treatment at less complete institutions to comprehensive lab tests, X-rays, specialists, and pharmacies at the most comprehensive centers. Counseling services are available in many campus health Programmed.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counseling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.
