Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

The Madha General Hospital is presently a 650 bedded hospital providing state of art medical care to a suburban population. Located at kovur (Near Porur) on Kundrathur high road, it is well connected by road, providing easy access to the general public. , it provides all kinds of casualty care and emergency care as well as those inpatient and outpatient services 24 × 7 daily. These departments are available at Indira Medical College Hospital such as Anatomy, Biochemistry, Community Medicine / PSM, Dermatology, ENT, Forensic Medicine, General Medicine, Microbiology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Psychiatry, Surgery, TB & Chest and other medical departments. Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
