The Maharashtra Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is a famous private institute founded in 1983. The college and hospital include unique characteristics such as a computerized library, central suction and oxygen delivery, generator backup, and an electrical sub-Centre. It also includes a well-established Department of Medical Education and a Quality Management System Cell, and in July 2004, American Quality Assessors (AQA) gave it ISO 9001-2000 certification. In a compassionate and holistic way, the Center seeks to develop devoted, internationally competitive, morally responsible, and totally committed health professionals in a global society with impoverished and disadvantaged rural people in Marathwada District. According to the World Health Organization, MIMSR Medical College, Latur's slogan is "HEALTH FOR ALL." Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

Admission Eligibility:

If you want to get an MBBS, you must take the National Qualification and Entry Examination (NEET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after you finish grade 12. All government, private, intermediate, and tertiary universities will be based on NEET schools, and seats will be granted on an advising basis based on merit results/standards, college preferences, and available seats.

Infrastructure:

Maharashtra Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is located in Maharashtra's beautiful city of Latur. This 106-acre campus is surrounded by a beautiful green eco-friendly setting. This institution's learning curriculum is supported by the MIMSR Central Library initiative. Textbooks, reference books, standard books, periodicals, magazines, encyclopedias, novels, reports, data sheets, compilation volumes, CD-ROMs, Floppies, and other resources are all available in the library. The library's infrastructure is enough to accommodate the demands of students. The MIMSR Central Library operates on an open access model, allowing customers immediate access to the library's holdings. Hostel:

It has a reading room, a section of a journal, a section of a reference, a section of a cycle, a section of a stack, acquisition, technology, a staff room, and a secretary office. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, each with a capacity of 220 people. Both hostels include a dining service or mess, as well as indoor activities. We make every effort to encourage our pupils to engage in a range of social, cultural, and sports activities. 

Sports:

The stadium has many outdoor sports venues such as Basketball, Cricket, Volley Ball and Lawn tennis. It also has a well-developed running track to meet the needs of health workers. Special care is taken with universal remediation. Indoor sports facilities such as Table Tennis, Carom, and Badminton are also provided.

Cafeteria:

The MIMER Hostel provides a mess with the restaurant area, as well as clean and nutritious food for the students. A Multi-Purpose Gym with a Leisure Hall and a Multi-Visit Hall is also available at the College Hostel, as well as a Daily Newspaper in English and Marathi and an R.O. For the convenience of students and visitors, the MIMES hostel provides a two-wheeled parking lot. Injury Services, Outpatient and Outpatient Services, and Emergency Services are all available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at MIMER Medical College Hospital. Each month, roughly 3000 outpatients and 2800 outpatients are hospitalized.
