Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

Admission Eligibility:

If you want to get an MBBS, you must take the National Qualification and Entry Examination (NEET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after you finish grade 12. All government, private, intermediate, and tertiary universities will be based on NEET schools, and seats will be granted on an advising basis based on merit results/standards, college preferences, and available seats.

Infrastructure:

MIMER (Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research) is based in Talegaon, Maharashtra. This campus is 64 acres in size, with a total building space of 12000 square meters. Internet, Wi-Fi, V-Sat-based telemedicine departments, and an excellent ICT centre for teaching and learning are all fully integrated. At MIMER Medical College, advanced teaching methods were created, including the installation of power stations, LCD projectors, CD/DVDs, scanners, and online-assisted teaching. Classroom instruction, tutorials, practical demonstrations, E-Class demos, classrooms, and clinics are all available. 

Library:

For students, staff, and researchers, the Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research has given a library of mid-level textbooks as well as reference materials. That is looked after by personnel who are well-versed in its operation. MIMER Pune includes a central library and 11 departmental libraries, with a total of 13175 medical volumes and a regular registration of 64 international and 68 Indian publications. A total of 200 computers are connected via the Local Area Network to several departments, digital laboratories, and a library on the MIMER campus, allowing students to access medical information from numerous publications and other sources. 

Laboratory:

Each museum comprises 507 models, 170 charts, 402 radiographs, and 200 models from the Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research. This is one of Maharashtra's best museums. Head and Neck, Thorax, Upper and Lower Limbs, Abdomen, Nervous System, and Embryology Division contain human bones and other vertebrates, radiographs, and sophisticated anatomical models.

Hostel:

The Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research has a student hostel on the College Campus that is 25,000 square feet [25,000 square meters] and contains 94 Boys' Rooms and 95 Girls' Rooms. For 42 Graduate Graduates, there is a separate Dormitory. Male and female managers guard MIMES Hostel. Hostel rooms with mattresses, study tables, restrooms, and toilets are also available.

Cafeteria:

The MIMER Hostel provides a mess with the restaurant area, as well as clean and nutritious food for the students. A Multi-Purpose Gym with a Leisure Hall and a Multi-Visit Hall is also available at the College Hostel, as well as a Daily Newspaper in English and Marathi and an R.O. For the convenience of students and visitors, the MIMES hostel provides a two-wheeled parking lot.

Injury Services, Outpatient and Outpatient Services, and Emergency Services are all available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at MIMER Medical College Hospital.
