Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Admission Eligibility:

If you want to get an MBBS, you must take the National Qualification and Entry Examination (NEET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after you finish grade 12. Infrastructure:

This Government Medical College campus is around 80,000 square metres in size. The College buildings are 21,166 square metres in size, with separate Hostel and residential blocks totaling 31, 957 square metres. The total area of the hospital buildings, including the OPD block, is 27,143 square metres. The three examination rooms of this college building, each with a seating capacity of 250 students and a building area of more than 750 square metres, were constructed.

Lecture Hall

The college building has five halls, each having a seating capacity of 240 people. One lecture hall with 250 seats and other amenities is placed in the hospital building. These are gallery-style built-ins with audio and video capabilities. Separate common rooms with a total area of more than 400 square metres and linked restroom facilities are offered for both boys and females students.

Library:

The Kurnool Medical College Central Library has a floor area of 3200 square metres and is fully air-conditioned. There are separate reading rooms, a stack room, and it is completely air-conditioned. There is an inside reading room with a capacity of 200 students, as well as outside reading rooms with a capacity of 50 students and separate reading rooms with a capacity of 200 students. There are 23,685 volumes in this library, as well as 70 Indian and 41 international journals. This college's Digital Library offers 26 PCs and all of the necessary amenities. Hostel:

Inside the Kurnool Government Medical College campus, a hostel and residential building totaling 31, 957 square metres was constructed. It contains a separate PG hostel with 132 rooms, as well as separate nurse and intern hostels. There are additional residential facilities for teaching and non-teaching workers on this site. The hostel wardens keep an eye on the students. The Gender Harassment Committee and the Anti-Ragging Committee are in charge of monitoring and approving the students' safety. Sports:

For both boys and girls hostels, Kurnool Medical College has a separate entertainment area with television, music, and indoor activities. Indoor Games are provided with a wide range of items. About Hospital:

Kurnool Medical College's Teaching Hospital is the General Government Hospital in Kurnool. This hospital has 1500 beds and covers an area of almost 27,000 square metres. On a daily basis, about 2000 outpatients come, with inpatient treatment occupying 90% of the beds. This hospital has the most up-to-date treatment facilities and offers multi-treatment therapy.

Bed Distribution & Other Facilities:

Each of the two general medicine and general surgery units has 210 beds. With 120 beds, the hospital specializes on Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, obstetrics, and Gynaecology. Thirty beds are dedicated to tuberculosis and respiratory medicine. This hospital's major clinical laboratory is managed by the Pathology department; however additional sections such as Microbiology, Hematology, and Biochemistry are also accessible. This hospital has 20 operating rooms, 15 of which are major and 5 of which are minor. There are 10 beds in the ICCU, 32 beds in the ICU, 10 beds in the SICU, and 20 beds in the NICU and PICU. These units are fully air-conditioned and equipped with a central oxygen supply, monitor, ventilator, and pulse Oximeters.

Student Support:

Anti- Ragging: - Any disorderly behaviour, whether via words said or written, or by an act, that has the effect of taunting, treating, or dealing a fresher or junior student with rudeness.

Health Care Services: - Medical services range from simple cold, virus, and minor injury treatment at less complete institutions to comprehensive lab tests, X-rays, specialists, and pharmacies at the most comprehensive centers. Counseling services are available in many campus health Programmes.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counselling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. Or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.
