Admission Eligibility:

The Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences is located in the beautiful city of Amala Puram in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This Medical College is situated on 25.18 acres of beautiful green, environmentally favorable land. The Hostel, residential block, and hospital buildings are all created individually, and the overall size of the College structures is roughly 20,350 Sq.mt. 

Examination Hall:

The Medical College Examination Hall and the hall are 1600 square metres in size and can seat 500 students. In the college building, there are five teaching halls, four academic halls with 180 students each, and one available lecture hall that can seat 350 people. In the hospital area, there is one academy with 200 pupils. Air conditioning, as well as audio and video capabilities, is available in these gallery-style lecture halls. Male and female students can choose from a variety of basic rooms with associated restrooms. 

Library:

The center's central library has a floor size of 2400 square metres and is air-conditioned. From 9 a.m. until 12 p.m., this library is open. This is a home with separate classrooms on the interior and outside that can accommodate up to 150 pupils. There are separate study spaces for PG personnel and students. There are 15000 textbooks and 106 periodicals available in the library, with 80 Indian journals and 26 international publications. This library's digital library contains 40 computers with Internet access. Dr.'s digital library is open to the public. E-Books and Compact Drives are available from NTR University of Health Sciences. 

Hostel:

The campus and hostel of KIMS Medical College comprise 24,000 square metres. Male and female students can stay in a variety of hostels and accommodations at this Medical College. A total of 550 students are housed in the UG hostels. There are a variety of training and nursing hostels accessible. Teaching and non-teaching employees can both stay in the same place. A pleasant eating system provides access to a clean military warship. A well-maintained and well-ventilated classroom with computers and internet access is available in all hostels. Hospital Facilities:

The Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital covers a total space of 28,240 square metres and contains an OPD block as well as treatment visits for 1800 outpatient patients. The relevant medical department of this teaching hospital has 790 beds available, and 85 percent of those beds are constantly occupied by patients. Both male and female patients have their own Injury Room, dressing room, and concrete rooms.

Beds Distribution:

In the medical department, these hospital beds are segregated into male and female patient care. There are 180 beds in General Medicine and General Surgery, 90 beds in Pediatric Medicine and Orthopedics, and 100 beds in Obstetrics and Gynecology. There are 30 beds per individual in the TB and Respiratory Medicine, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, and ENT departments.

Other Services:

Microbiology, Hematology, and Biochemistry are among the various laboratory categories at the hospital's main laboratories, which are examined about 1000 times every day. The hospital has 14 operating theatres, with 10 for major surgery and four for minor surgeries. The critical care unit is equipped with all of the essential equipment. There are 6 beds in the ICCU, 8 beds in the ICU, 6 beds in the SICU, 7 beds in the NICU, and 7 beds in the PICU.

The city is well connected to the Road and Rail network as the APSRTC Bus Stand is 3.8 km from the college and reaches within 15 minutes. Godavari railway station is the nearest main railway station located 70 km from the medical college and can reach NH16 within 2 hours. In addition, Rajahmundry Airport is the nearest Home Airport of the college at a distance of 80KM.
