which was founded in 2016, is one of the greatest government medical institutions in the state. It is also known as Kodagu Medical College and is one of the leading clinical institutions in Karnataka, offering 150 MBBS positions each year. Madikeri's Kodagu District Hospital is affiliated with the Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences' Madikeri Teaching Hospital and services the city's provincial population. The institution has a good number of experienced and well-trained workers that are well-versed in cutting-edge technology. It also provides a suitable quantity of non-specialized workers to provide understudies with a self-learning environment. Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Qualifying for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination is also required of students (NEET) .

Admission Eligibility:

If you want to get an MBBS, you must take the National Qualification and Entry Examination (NEET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after you finish grade 12. All government, private, intermediate, and tertiary universities will be based on NEET schools, and seats will be granted on an advising basis based on merit results/standards, college preferences, and available seats.

Infrastructure:

The lovely city of Madikeri, Karnataka, is home to the Kodagu Institute of Medical Science. This Medical College Campus is spread out across 22 acres, with school structures totaling 42,910 square metres and three floors. More than 16,000 square metres have been constructed for an emergency clinic, as well as a private and hostel complex. Medical clinic structures include discrete OPD squares, while college structures include Demo rooms, Common rooms, Laboratory, Skill Lab, Computer Lab, Library, Auditorium, Examination corridors, and so on. Kodagu Medical School has two talk theatres, each with a seating capacity of 180 students, and one talk theatre with a seating capacity of 280 students. These auditoriums are inherent display type with all offices such as sound and video assistance. There are three storeys, each with pleasant and well-organized study spaces. The evaluation corridors and assembly hall are outstanding. This school's labs are designed with a variety of offices. Separate normal places for young men and young females exist at this Government Medical School. This administration clinical school's library is 700 square metres in size. This has been well-organized, having a stack room, an interior comprehension room, and an outside perusing area, each with a seating limit of 75 understudies. There is an isolated staff perusing area with a seating capacity of 75 people, as well as PG perusing rooms. The Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences Library includes 3100 clinical books and a total of 20 journals, including 14 Indian and 6 foreign journals.  A computerised library with 25 PCs and web offices is available for clinical exams. This administrative clinical school offers a large jungle gym for open-air games, as well as four badminton courts and offices for inside sports. About Hospital

The Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital spans 16,160 square metres, with OPD blocks housed in a storm basement and two different structures. This facility includes 319 beds and clinical offices in Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Radiology, Physiotherapy, and Forensic Medicine, among others. The blood donation facility and crisis centres are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The clinic is equipped with a top-of-the-line research facility to assist with patient analysis and therapy. Every day, about 800 short-term patients attend, with 90 percent of the beds being used for inpatient care.  This is one of the most outstanding government emergency clinics in Madikeri and the surrounding areas, providing excellent clinical forms of support. These 319 beds are distributed among the various clinical divisions, which include a paediatrics ward with 24 beds, a General Medicine ward with 72 beds, a General a medical procedure ward with 90 beds, a muscular ward with 30 beds, an ophthalmology and ENT office with 10 beds each, and an obstetrics and gynaecology ward with 40 beds. There are five activity theatres, four of which are prominent and one of which is insignificant. The Medical Director oversees a centralised clinical lab with distinct sections for pathology, microbiological science, haematology, and organic chemistry. The escalation care section is well-equipped, with five beds in each ICU, NICU, or PICU, and SICU. Sophisticated Radiological offices provide access to them.

Anti- Ragging: - Any disorderly behaviour, whether via words said or written, or by an act, that has the effect of taunting, treating, or dealing a fresher or junior student with rudeness.

Health Care Services: - Medical services range from simple cold, virus, and minor injury treatment at less complete institutions to comprehensive lab tests, X-rays, specialists, and pharmacies at the most comprehensive centers. Counseling services are available in many campus health Programmes.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counselling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. Or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.

The Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital is located in Madikeri, Karnataka, 250 kilometres west of Bangalore and 120 kilometres east of Mysore. Mysore, the nearest city, is the second largest city in Karnataka's area and is famed for its heritage designs and royal homes. Madikeri is situated at an elevation of 3770 feet above sea level and is surrounded by a roadway network and a clinical school that is approximately 4 kilometres away. Mysore, the nearest city, has a Railway Junction that is connected to many places all over the world. It is 120 km away from the school and takes around 2 hours to travel. The nearest airport to the school is Mysore's indigenous airport, which is roughly 135 kilometres away, and the Mangalore International Airport, which is 148 kilometres distant and takes 2 hours and 30 minutes to get to.
