Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, is home to Katuri Medical College. Katuri Medical College and Hospital are spread across an area of almost 1, 05,000 square metres. Within the college site, there are several unique hostel and residential structures. The college buildings cover an area of 20,960 sq. Mtr, while different hospital buildings cover an area of 72,408 sq. Mtr. The medical college contains three exam rooms, each covering 250 sq. Mtr. These are offered with comfortable lodging and a capacity of 250 students per location. 

Lecture Hall:

The Talking Halls of Katuri Medical College are designed to seem like a gallery. There are three teaching halls in the college facility, each with seating for 180 students with audio and video capabilities. The hospital features a single, fully equipped Lecture Hall that can seat up to 250 students each section. Male and female students can choose from a variety of basic rooms. A regular boys' room with a capacity of 100 pupils and a girls' room with a capacity of 60 students, both with adjoining bathrooms, are available. 

Library:

The primary library of this Medical College is well-maintained. The library covers a total space of 3,300 square metres. There is seating available both inside and outside the classes, with 200 pupils inside and 150 students outside. A separate staff room with 50 seats and a PG student classroom with 50 seats are both available. There are 16,083 volumes and 103 journals in the library, with 73 Indian periodicals and 30 international publications. From 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., this central library is open. A 40-computer E-library with Internet access and Video CDs, as well as other cutting-edge medical technology. Through the N.T.R.MEDNET Consortium, this Library Assistance Network for International Institutions and Events is linked to advancements in several disciplines of medicine and access to periodicals. 

Hostel:

The Katuri Medical College Hostel and Accommodation are on the same site as the college. This hostel and residential quarters have a total area of 10,800 square metres. Boys and girls can use the services of separate hostels. Each student has his or her own bed, study table, chairs, and storage cabinet. More than 680 students are housed at the UG Hostels. There are about 200 places to stay, including PG hostels and Interns hostels. Teaching and non-teaching employees can both stay in the same place. There is a clean restaurant, a pleasant eating system, and cooling places. A well-maintained and well-ventilated classroom with computers and internet access is available in all hostels. TV, music, and indoor grooming are all available in the lounge. 

Sports:

Katuri Medical College Hospital was established in the year 2000 and spans over 72,400 square metres. This is a well-known name in the inpatient care industry. Approximately 2100 outpatients are treated here.

Beds Services:

The medical department at this teaching hospital has 750 beds available. General Medicine and Surgery has 150 beds each category, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Obstetricians, and Gynecologists have 90 beds each, TB and Respiratory Medicine, Psychiatry, Dermatology, and ENT have 30 beds each, and Ophthalmology has 2 beds with 60 beds.

Other Services:

The pathology section oversees the laboratories, which are divided into three categories: microbiology, Haematology, and biochemistry. There are a total of 12 functioning theatres. There are ten big workplaces and two mini workspaces available. The critical care unit is equipped with everything you need. There are a total of 12 beds in the ICCU and ICU. SICU has 11 beds, NICU has 12 beds, and PICU has 12 beds.

Health Care Services: - Medical services range from simple cold, virus, and minor injury treatment at less complete institutions to comprehensive lab tests, X-rays, specialists, and pharmacies at the most comprehensive centers. Counseling services are available in many campus health Programmes.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counselling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.

Katuri Medical College is in the state of Andhra Pradesh, in the town of Guntur. Guntur is the world's 24th most populated city, the 11th in India, and home to the country's largest industrial tunnel. Because it is connected to huge regions by National Highways, Regional Highways, and Regional Roads, the city has an extensive network of roads. KMCH is 21 kilometres from the city centre and takes 30-45 minutes to get by public transportation (city bus, private vehicle rickshaws, elevators, minibuses, etc.). Guntur railway station, located 18 kilometres from the institution, is one of the province's major rail junctions, operating daily MEMU and local trains for commuters, including hundreds of students. The nearest airport to Guntur is Vijayawada International Airport, which is 74 kilometres away and takes 01:30 hours to reach.
