The Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS) was founded in 1991 by the Kirloskar Group.

In 1998, KIAMS embarked on the training of enlightened, young minds in advanced management education to meet the needs of national administrative leadership. This has been awarded as a Diploma in Post Graduate in Management (PGDM) two years of full-time employment.

BUSINESS IMMERSION - Student Development Program

The Step or Student Development Program is a unique institutional practice designed to strengthen the foundations needed for a manager to thrive in the business environment. This was done by the Mentor-Protégé groups formed. Professors help students (protégé) in developing soft skills and technical management skills. Thanks to the Student Development Program, a few sets of student skills are developed at the end of the two-year PGDM Program.

SKILL IS SET AFTER THE FULL TERM

Improvement of attitude and ability for in-depth analysis, current news knowledge, volume appropriateness and quality and background information. There is a ‘Communication and Awareness Forum’ that helps students keep abreast of developments taking place in the area.

⦁ KIAMS has Industrial Coordinating Committee (ICC)

⦁ They are made up of members from various companies and professionals.

⦁ The ICC provides guidance on the changes needed to make the education industry more focused.

⦁ The ICC ensures that regular events such as seminars, workshops and panel discussions are held to keep students informed of the latest developments and developments in the industry.

⦁ The current Business News and Analysis Forum is there to support students in a variety of ways so that they know what's going on in the area. Sessions are regularly scheduled to expose students to industry analysis, news analysis, questions, video clips, etc. to train students to become industry-oriented professionals.

ELIGIBLITY

The eligibility requirements for the Program are as follows:

⦁ Bachelor's degrees (10 + 2 + 3 OR 10 + 2 + 4) in any discipline from a recognized university, with a combined mark of not less than 50%. Students enrolling for final year examinations may apply.

⦁ Admission test scores for any of the following: CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA, Maharashtra CET (For Pune Campus), Karnataka CET (For Harihar Campus).

SELECTION Pattern

The candidate is shortlisted on the basis of the overall level of computing considering the following components and weights as defined by AICTE:

⦁ Scores on standard entry tests (CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA, Karnataka CET): 25%

⦁ Educational Performance: 30%

⦁ Group Discussion / Extempore / Written Skills Test and Personal Interviews: 45%

⦁ Career Information / Sports / Extra Study Activities / Remarkable Achievements: 5%

SCHOLARSHIP

⦁ Students from the CAT / XAT / CMAT / GMAT / MAT entrance examinations of 95 percent and above are eligible for a scholarship of Rs. 1, 00,000 / - for all tuition fees.

⦁ Students from the CAT / XAT / CMAT / GMAT / MAT entrance examinations of between 90 and 95% are eligible for a scholarship of ₹ 60,000 / - in all tuition fees.

⦁ The bursary will be used from the sixth installment of the levy and will be linked to academic and ethical performance during the PGDM course. It will be paid as follows:

⦁ Those who qualify for a bursary of Rs.1,00,000 / - will receive a rebate on the sixth installment as long as the GPA / CGPA for the last 3 semesters is 3.20 for the 2017-19 collection and 7.20 for the 2018-20 collection.

⦁ Eligible ₹ 60,000 / - bursary will receive a discount on the sixth installment as long as the GPA / CGPA for the last 3 semesters is 2.85 in batch 2017-19 and 6,4125 for the 2018-20 bulk.
