was established back in 1963 in the time of the shortage of medical facilities in Karnataka. Earlier the college was the constituent medical college of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health and Science and now, the college is the constituent of KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research, situated in Belgaum, Karnataka, India. This medical college is a center of excellence in medical education, research and healthcare services both nationally and internationally. Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

The College spread over 100 acres of land surrounded by greenery, giving an excellent infrastructure and learning resources. The campus is filled with all necessary amenities or modern laboratories and clinical department. The college also has museum to display medical insight, which is exceptionally great to spread medical knowledge by showing medical facts and oddities. The college also have hostel inside the campus, providing proper care for the student, which feels like a home away from home.

The DR. SG DESAI LIBRARY is the Central Library of the KLE ACADEMY OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND RESEARCH. It is a three-story architectural elegance with a reference section, modern reading rooms with 24 hour services, a digital library with Internet, a binding section, an audiovisual room, and reprographic facilities. Wi-Fi access to the digital library is available across campus, as well as remote access from outside campus. CCTV cameras are installed throughout the library. There are approximately 33,000 textbooks in the health sciences section of the library, as well as a subscription to 218 international and national journals.

Health Care Services: - Medical services range from simple cold, virus, and minor injury treatment at less complete institutions to comprehensive lab tests, X-rays, specialists, and pharmacies at the most comprehensive centers. Counseling services are available in many campus health Programmed.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counseling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.

Belgaum, Karnataka, India's Javaharlal Nehru Medical College, often known as Belagavi, is 510 kilometres northwest of Bangalore. Belgaum is well linked by road, train, and air, and the medical college lies within 5 kilometres of the city limits and can be reached in 10 minutes with round-the-clock transportation.

The institution is 5 kilometres from the Belgaum railway connection, which takes around 15 minutes to reach. The city has a domestic airport, which is around 14.5 kilometres and 30 minutes distant from the campus. The closest international airport is Mopa International Airport in Goa, which is around 108 kilometres away and takes about 2 hours to go to from the campus.
