Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Medical College, Ajmer

was founded in 1965 and is a famous government medical college. It was the fourth one to open in the state of Rajasthan. The institution's mission is to develop young people who are compassionate, confident, and capable of becoming capable doctors and caring human beings. From the start, we've sought to create an environment that supports this belief and instils strong values and professionalism. And I am confident that everyone of you will continue this legacy. JLN Medical College includes affiliated teaching hospitals that provide general, speciality, and super specialty care to the region, as well as teaching and research opportunities. "AJMER (Ajaymeru Journal of Medical Education and Research)" is a journal published by the College. The National Medical Committee has approved this institution, which is connected with the Rajasthan University of Medical Science.

 

Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

Admission Eligibility:

A student seeking admission to a post-graduate programme must have earned an MBBS from a recognised university. Then, as per Section 10 (D) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single admission test to various MD/MS Courses.

About Hospital

Victoria Hospital, a teaching hospital at JLN Medical College, was founded in 1851 during colonial times. The hospital has a total of 1378 beds, with 93 ICU beds and 20 Casualty beds. The average daily OPD is around 4700. The hospital contains 17 main operating rooms and two minor operating rooms, with an average of 56 operations each day. This medical college is a full-fledged multi-specialty hospital that provides all of our students with a wide range of clinical material in order for them to receive exposure and appropriate academic training as well as in-depth knowledge for practical professional development. All of the facilities on campus, including the Blood Bank, TPA and Empanelment, Pharmacy, Modular OT, Welcoming Reception, ICU/SICU/PICU/MICU, Emergency, Causality, and Ambulance, are equipped with latest cutting-edge technology.

Anti- Ragging: - Any disorderly behavior, whether via words said or written, or by an act, that has the effect of taunting, treating, or dealing a fresher or junior student with rudeness.

Health Care Services: - Medical services range from simple cold, virus, and minor injury treatment at less complete institutions to comprehensive lab tests, X-rays, specialists, and pharmacies at the most comprehensive centers. Counseling services are available in many campus health Programmed.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counseling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.
