Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Qualifying for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination is also required of students (NEET) .

Admission Eligibility:

If you want to get an MBBS, you must take the National Qualification and Entry Examination (NEET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after you finish grade 12. Surat, Gujarat's lovely metropolis, is home to the Government Medical College. This medical complex is spread out across 130 acres in a beautiful green, environmentally friendly setting. The College building covers a total area of almost 26,310 square metres. The OPD Medical College Hospital has a total capacity of 49,293. Furthermore, the Hostel and Accommodation cover a total area of 74,160 square metres. Surat Medical College and the Medical College Library were established in 1962. The library occupies a total space of 4050 square metres. 

Library:

The present Medical College Surat Library, which dates from circa 1962, is housed in a similar edifice on the College grounds. Hospital Facilities:

Surat, the new open clinic, was founded fifty years ago in 1964 with 300 beds for routine patients. Its main goal is to provide clinical training and advanced education services to patients in South Gujarat and the surrounding areas. Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

The school is in the Indian state of Gujarat, in the city of Surat. Surat is 284 kilometres south of Gandhinagar, 265 kilometres south of Ahmedabad, and 289 kilometres north of Mumbai. It was formerly a major harbour and is now mostly focused on business and finance in Gujarat's south. It is well recognized for its lucrative enterprises and as a service hub.
