Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

This Government Medical College is situated in the beautiful city of Kerala, Kollam. The campus of the college is spreads over an area of 19722 square meters. The Hospital with OPD spread over an area of ​​93878 square meters. The college hostel and residential complex is built on an area of ​​43579 square meters. 

Library:

The Central Library covers an area of 1600 square metres. In the library, there are two sorts of libraries. Books are put with the library staff in the classroom, and students who are unable to bring their own books can only read books in the stack room of the library. They can even bring their own books to read in certain so-called schools. The hours of operation for the Library application are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Internal and External classrooms, each with 75 pupils and a classroom for up to 20 staff members, are available to students. For students to use, the GMCK library contains a huge collection of reference materials, including 2549 books, 42 Indian journals, and 20 foreign publications.
