The GMC & Hospital Chandigarh complex spans 36.09 acres of government-allotted property and includes Blocks A through J, as well as Service, Parking, and Power Substation buildings. Block-E is a 9-story academic structure with a floor size of 42900 sq. mt that houses various allied health sciences courses in pre-clinical and pare-clinical departments.
GMCH features a central library with a built-up space of 2905 sq. mts, a collection of about 14000 books, and subscriptions to 35 Indian and 89 international journals. Additionally, the library contains an Inside and Outside Reading Room with a capacity of 130 people, as well as a separate Staff Reading Room with a capacity of 25 people.

For both boys and girls, GMCH includes a separate structure that serves as a hostel. The boys hostel is a three-story structure with 150 students, while the girls hostels 1&2 have 66 rooms with 105 students. There are also rooms available for Transit students (05 students) and Interns (52 students). There is also separate residential housing for staff doctors, residents, and nurses.
The GMCH Canteen is located in Block-B (OPD-Block) Level I and Block-C (Kitchen) and provides services to teachers, students, employees, out-patients, attendants, and guests. In addition to academic brilliance, GMCH students have regularly performed well in a variety of cultural, literary, and sporting activities, owing to the fact that the school has both outdoor and indoor play grounds.

The GMCH is a big multi-disciplinary hospital with a total bed capacity of 834 for all departments. It was built block by block with the highest specifications possible in the country so that the campus could be kept hygienically clean and virus free.
Block-A is an emergency block with 250 beds, an emergency ward with several specializations, an ICU, surgery theatres, private wards, and a canteen. Block-B, which houses the OPD, has six stories and a total space of 258000 square feet. Block-C is a 7+2 floor IPD block with numerous departments such as housing laundry, main kitchen, 14 operation theatres, and other wards. Block-D is a six-story administrative building with a total size of 278000 square feet. as well as having a large number of associated health sciences departments.
GMCH offers well-developed services across all specialties and is in the midst of building super-specialties to provide comprehensive and rehabilitative healthcare to inhabitants of North India, both urban/semi-urban and rural.
Anti- Ragging: - Any disorderly behaviour, whether via words said or written, or by an act, that has the effect of taunting, treating, or dealing a fresher or junior student with rudeness.
Health Care Services: - Medical services range from simple cold, virus, and minor injury treatment at less complete institutions to comprehensive lab tests, X-rays, specialists, and pharmacies at the most comprehensive centers. Counseling services are available in many campus health Programmes.
Counselling Service: - The 'Counselling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. Or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."
Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.
The GMCH is located in the Union Territory of Chandigarh, India, which has some of the top educational facilities in the country and serves as a centre for many national and international institutions. The city, popularly known as 'City Beautiful,' is 240 kilometres north of Delhi. The College & Hospital is in Sector 32, while the Residential Campus is in Sector 48, with a distance of 3 kilometres between them.
The college is in an excellent position, with frequent bus service available from all corners of the city. The Chandigarh railway station is the primary junction, and it is around 9 kilometres from the campus. It is well connected to other regions of India.
