Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Admission Eligibility:

If you want to get an MBBS, you must take the National Qualification and Entry Examination (NEET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after you finish grade 12. Infrastructure:

The Ananthapuram Government Medical College campus covers 35 acres and has a total constructed space of around 1,40,000 square metres. The College buildings cover over 56,000 square metres, with distinct Hostel and residential blocks, while the Hospital structures, including the OPD complex, cover over 85,000 square metres. This Government Medical College is situated in Ananthapuram, one of Andhra Pradesh’s major cities. This Medical College is equipped with all of the necessary structures as mandated by the MCI.

Lecture Hall:

This institution has one examination hall with a seating capacity of 120 students and a floor size of 150 square metres. The college building has four lecture halls, each having a seating capacity of 120 people. One lecture hall with 100 seats and other amenities is placed in the hospital building. These are gallery-style built-ins with audio and video capabilities. Separate common rooms with a total space of 120 sq mt are accessible for both boys and females students.

Library:

The Gender Harassment Committee and the Anti-Ragging Committee are in charge of monitoring and approving the students' safety. Separate air-conditioned visiting rooms and air-conditioned study rooms are provided, each with computer and internet access.

For both boys and girls hostels, this Government Medical College has a separate entertainment area with television, music, and indoor activities. Indoor Games are provided with a wide range of items. About Hospital:

This Government Medical College's Teaching Hospital is the General Government Hospital in Ananthapur. This hospital has 500 beds and covers an area of over 63,790 square metres. More than 1500 outpatients come here every day, while inpatients occupy 85 percent of the beds. This hospital has the most up-to-date treatment facilities and offers multi-treatment therapy.

Beds Distribution:

Each of the general medicine and general surgery units contains 126 beds. There are more than 60 beds in Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Obstetrics, and Gynecology. There are 60 beds in TB and respiratory medicine, psychiatry, ENT, Dermatology, and Ophthalmology. This hospital's major clinical laboratory is managed by the Pathology department; however additional sections such as Microbiology, Hematology, and Biochemistry are also accessible. This hospital contains 12 operating rooms, 11 of which are major and one minor. Intensive care units with 10 beds, such as the ICCU, ICU, and SICU, are available. These units are fully air-conditioned and equipped with a central oxygen supply, monitor, ventilator, and pulse Oximeters.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counselling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. Or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.
