Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Qualifying for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination is also required of students (NEET) .

Admission Eligibility:

If you want to get an MBBS, you must take the National Qualification and Entry Examination (NEET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after you finish grade 12. All government, private, intermediate, and tertiary universities will be based on NEET schools, and seats will be granted on an advising basis based on merit results/standards, college preferences, and available seats.

Gadag, Karnataka's ancient city, is home to the Government Medical College. This Medical College facility is located on 54 acres inside the Gadag District Hospital grounds. The space covered by this Medical College building is 51,000 square metres. This building boasts a well-organized structure and well-ventilated offices. There are two examination corridors here, each with a capacity of 250 people. The facility is well equipped with laboratories, museums, and an auditorium. There are six lecture halls available, five auditoriums at the school each with a seating capacity of 180, and one in the emergency clinic with a capacity of 200. There are 302 qualified Teaching Faculty on hand.  This College offers separate typical areas for young men and young women, each measuring 160 square metres and including a lavatory. The Central Library of the Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences has an area of 2400 square metres. It contains 5513 books as well as 28 Indian and 12 foreign diaries. Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.

How to reach us:

This Medical School is 7.7 kilometres away from Gadag's New Bus Station, and it takes 18 minutes to get there. Through Mulgund Rd, and from old transit, the distance to school is 8.1 kilometres, with a time of arrival of 20 minutes. Mulgund Rd runs 9.1 kilometres from Gadag Junction to this foundation. Hubballi has 62.3 km of NH67 to Gokul Rd in Kallur Layout and Gandhi Nagar from this foundation to Hubballi Airport.
