was founded in 2002 and is a famous government institution. Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Admission Eligibility:

If you want to get an MBBS, you must take the National Qualification and Entry Examination (NEET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after you finish grade 12. All government, private, intermediate, and tertiary universities will be based on NEET schools, and seats will be granted on an advising basis based on merit results/standards, college preferences, and available seats.

Infrastructure:

Latur is a government medical college in Maharashtra's south central region. With a college campus and medical facilities, the Medical College is spread out across 53 hectares of land. The New College and Hospital buildings are designed in the most up-to-date OT style, with the existing structure being enlarged to 13 hectares to house the former and paramedical departments. These departments of the Medical College have their own labs, as well as museums and libraries with nice classrooms. Doors, as well as the appropriate equipment and halls, are provided. For male and female pupils, there are different demo rooms and standard rooms. 

Laboratory:

At each department, there are a variety of conference and teaching halls. Anatomy Department has 64.24 square meters of research space, 255 square meters of dissection space, 161.28 square meters of histology space, and 155 square meters of museum space, including Specimen 230 and Embryology Model 89. Obstetrics and Gynecology Department has 150 square meters with 28 examples and 25 charts and illustrations. The appropriate equipment is available in all disciplines.

Library:

GMC Latur's Central Library is 2400 square meters in size, with separate reading rooms for boys and girls, as well as a Book Bank. Computer and Internet Resources (Phase E) Brad Bond Facility, Meddler Facility, T.V., VCR, Xerox, and a Microfilm Study Area are all available. The anatomy department library is 31.24 square meters in size and holds a total of 108 books. There are 105 books and 110 articles in the ophthalmology library. The Obstetrics and Gynecology Department has 100 books and 67 periodicals. More than 100 books and publications are available in the Microbiology Departmental Library.

Hostel:

GMC, Latur, features well-constructed student housing as well as qualified faculty and staff. For males and girls, there are separate hostels. The boys' hostel contains a total of 124 rooms, each of which can accommodate up to two students, with a total of 240 students staying here. There is a separate guard office, and Guest has access to all resources. All of the resources are available in the Reading Room. Parents have their own living area, as well as amusement rooms with TV and Internet access. Messes, canteens, and decent restaurants are also available. The Government College Medical College Girls' Hostel contains 128 rooms, each with a capacity of two students, and can accommodate around 250 students. This hostel offers all of the amenities that a guys' hostel would have. Gyms, as well as indoor and outdoor sports and play spaces, are available at these hostels. This Medical College offers a variety of teaching facilities as well as non-teaching personnel.

Hospital Facilities:

The college was founded on the grounds of the 200-bed Regional Facility, the 60-bed Kasturba Gandhi Women Hospital, and the Maharashtra Department of Public Health's 60-bed eye hospital. On October 1, 2007, hospitals were moved to the Department of Medical Education. A total of 13 hectares of extra land were linked. The new hospital and university buildings were built using the most up-to-date OT design on a 53-hectare plot of land, with front entrances and para-clinical extensions into existing structures. The bed capacity was thereafter increased to 510 beds, and the ICCU and NICU units were established. From 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., there are around 300 (OPD) patients who come to see us, with an average of 75 to 80 patients admitted to the ward. In General Medicine, there are four medication wards with a total capacity of 120 beds, two for women and two for men. The Intensive Care Unit contains 12 beds and is outfitted with a TMT machine, a 2D-Echo machine, five ventilators, a multipara monitor, central suction, central oxygen, an infusion pump, a defibrillator, dual ECG machines, and mobile draws, among other things. The Children's Department covers 22,000 square kilometres and comprises an outpatient clinic, a children's ward, an intensive care unit, and an office building. Pediatric Development and Management Clinic, Epilepsy Clinic, Newborn Clinic, Newborn Risk Clinic, Pediatric HIV Clinic, Children's Hemato-Oncology Clinic, Pediatric Nephrology Clinic, and Pediatric Chest Clinic are all part of the division. Air-conditioned facilities in the Operation Theater are provided, as well as cutting-edge equipment.
