Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Qualifying for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination is also required of students (NEET) .

Admission Eligibility:

If you want to get an MBBS, you must take the National Qualification and Entry Examination (NEET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after you finish grade 12. All government, private, intermediate, and tertiary universities will be based on NEET schools, and seats will be granted on an advising basis based on merit results/standards, college preferences, and available seats.

GCS Medical College is located in Gujarat's lovely city of Ahmedabad. This Medical Campus has 37250 square metres in size. The hospital has 39500 square metres in size and contains Outpatients (OPD) departments. Following then, the hostel and lodging were spread out across a total of 25800 square metres. UG and PG students and staff use the Central Library, which is well-ventilated. The library is 3483 square feet in size. In different rooms, the Central Library can accommodate 150 undergraduate students, 150 graduate students, and 30 staff members. Except on Sundays and holidays, the library reading room is open 24 hours a day, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The library has a total of 11914 books. 70 international publications and 33 Indian periodicals were among the 103 magazines subscribed to. Television, VCR, and copy, Internet, computer with 40 computer nodes, and audio and video room with numerous CD / DVD numbers are among the Central Library's other resources. There are adequate books for professors and students in the department's libraries.

Lecture Hall:

Air-type exhibition halls are available at the medical college. There are 180 pupils in each of these classes. In addition, the hospital features an air conditioning gallery lecture hall. It can accommodate 200 persons. There are classrooms with visual aids including LCD projectors and audio systems, as well as chalkboards, overhead projectors, and internet access. Hostel:

Sports:

GCS Medical College offers all of the required equipment for cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, and other sports. It includes a one-of-a-kind playground for all types of games. Indoor sports facilities include badminton and table tennis, as well as carom and athletics. Both the Men's and Women's hostels include a gym with well-equipped amenities.

Hospital Facilities:

650 public beds and 30 intensive care units are available at the hospital and GCS research centre. It is a cutting-edge tertiary hospital. Fourteen modern and minimal performance theatres with laminar air flow and hemp filters are available. All current equipment is offered, including C-Arm machines. The hospital can accommodate 1450 patients each day, according to the Assessment Report. General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Gynecology & Obstetrics are among the hospital's departments. Non-clinical services include a 24-hour ambulance service, a blood bank, a kitchen, a pharmacy, laundry, an intercom system, and a central intensive care unit. There are four clinical laboratories at GCS Hospital. Pathology, Microbiology, Hematology, and Biochemistry are the four disciplines.

Health Care Services: - Medical services range from simple cold, virus, and minor injury treatment at less complete institutions to comprehensive lab tests, X-rays, specialists, and pharmacies at the most comprehensive centers. Counseling services are available in many campus health Programmes.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counselling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.

Ahmedabad, India's biggest and seventh most populated city, is home to the Government Cancer Society. The city is located on the banks of the Sabarmati River, 23 kilometres from the country's capital, Gandhinagar, and links to the country's major cities by national roads. The institution provides a regular round-the-clock transportation service from the city, which is 4.3 kilometres away and takes 10 minutes.
