Dr.VM Government Medical College, Solapur

is a prominent government college that was created in 1963 by Dr. Vishnu Ganesh Vaishampayan and received MCI undergraduate approval for MBBS courses in 1974. It was founded as a private medical school but was taken over by the government in 1977. MCI was granted recognition for postgraduate study in 1977. In India, it is a well-known undergraduate and postgraduate medical education college. To provide high-quality health care to our patients through a committed, compassionate, and humane approach at an affordable cost to patients and the community at large, as well as to train medical professionals to excel in academic courses so that they can produce highly skilled doctors to meet community needs. It was a deliberate and subservient test. The Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy School was established at this medical college for the first time in India. The medical institution has the first Cobalt unit in Maharashtra's whole region. It also acquired its first CT scanner, which was distributed throughout Maharashtra. It possesses sophisticated facilities such as Ultrasound 2-D Echo, ICCU, Computerized Trade Mill Test, Auto Analyzers, and so on, but for a number of reasons, it has been unable to keep up with current medical breakthroughs. The Medical Council of India has authorized Dr. VM Medical College, which is associated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MCI).

Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

If you want to get an MBBS, you must take the National Qualification and Entry Examination (NEET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after you finish grade 12. All government, private, intermediate, and tertiary universities will be based on NEET schools, and seats will be granted on an advising basis based on merit results/standards, college preferences, and available seats.
