Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune

in Pune was established in 1989. The institution is located about 5 kilometres south of Pune city and is affiliated to a teaching hospital on a 25-acre green campus. This college is well-known for both its academic and infrastructural excellence. Before becoming a constituent college of Bharati Vidyapeeth in 1996, the institution was affiliated with the University of Pune. (Assumed university status.) The Medical Council of India (MCI) has recognised this medical college, which offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral medical education. The college has also been recognised by the General Medical Council of Great Britain, and it is referenced in the World Health Organization (WHO). Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Medical students who intend to pursue MBBS admission must take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after completing 12th grade.

Admission Eligibility:

An MBBS degree from a recognised university is required for admission to the post-graduate programme. Then, as per Section 10 (D) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single admission test to various MD/MS Courses.
