Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Amrita School of Health Sciences Campus is spreading over 125 acres of land. AMS has teaching rooms, lecture theatres and clinical skills state-of-the-art laboratories, spacious lecture halls, best-in-class medical software, and an elaborate anatomy museum. This massive healthcare infrastructure has 3,330,000 sq. ft. The present campus consists of 12 storeys with a total floor area of 120,000 sq. ft. The additional floor area of this hospital is 1,100,000 sq.ft.
The Central Library at Amrita Medical College has 1800 square metres in size. This library is computerised to the nth degree. For student use, the AMS Library is available until 12:00 midnight. The library now has around 13,000 books, 1007 e-books, videotapes, and multimedia assets in its collection. It also subscribes to and receives roughly 4900 journal titles and has over 1300 CDs/DVDs for student use.
The Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) has developed from a 115-bed specialist hospital to a 1450-bed super-specialized health facility with an affiliated Medical College hospital in less than fifteen years. The Prime Minister of India, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, inaugurated AIMS on May 17, 1998, in the presence of Her Holiness Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi. The hospital has roughly 3,000 outpatients on a daily basis, with a 95 percent patient occupancy rate. Patient turnover is staggering, with over 6,15,000 outpatients and approximately 54,800 inpatients per year. The AMC Outpatient Department sees roughly 3500 outpatients per day, with a 95 percent inpatient occupancy rate.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counseling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."
Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.
Amrita School of Medical Science is in the Indian state of Kerala, in Kochi (Cochin). It is also known as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea" and is a significant port city on India's southwest coast.
