The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalagiri

is one of the greatest government medical schools in the country, with some new facilities added in 2018. Mangalagiri is planned to serve as a clinical centre for all medical care Programmes across all of India's territories, according to the India Institute of Medical Sciences. The goal of AIIMS Mangalagiri is to train various health professionals to eradicate human illnesses. In 2018, AIIMS, Mangalagiri was established on the temporary grounds of Vijayawada's Siddhartha Government Medical College. It is currently located in the Guntur area of Andhra Pradesh, where it is being used for human purposes, and the school and emergency clinic are fully operational with all necessary resources. AIIMS is Autonomous University and approved by Medical Council of India (MCI).

Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as physics and chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). Qualifying for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination is also required of students (NEET) .

Infrastructure:

The MBBS curriculum of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalagiri, has been updated to include some innovative teaching approaches to make medical studies more accessible to students. Students may grasp the subject matter in a short amount of time thanks to this perspective learning experience, allowing them to be more productive in their clinical practice.

Campus Area:

Mangalagiri is home to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, which spans 183 acres of land. The medical college, which spans 19,647 square metres on the Mangalagiri campus, is housed in contemporary infrastructure. The AIIMS Mangalagiri camps own the administrative block, which is 4,826 square metres in size, as well as the academic block, lecture theatres, classrooms, dissection halls, demonstration halls, hostel, library, sports, canteen, mess, and an auditorium that is 6,980 square metres in size and can accommodate 690 people. Hostel:

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalagiri dormitory offers comfortable lodging with all necessary amenities to ensure that students have a happy stay throughout their studies. The girl's hostel has a total of 79 rooms, of which 40 single and 39 double bedded rooms with a total space of 2334 sq.mt are accessible. The boy's hostel has 123 double-bedded rooms totaling 4910 square metres. The AIIMS hostel offers common rooms, a library, a play space for indoor activities, and a gym, among other amenities.
Separate UG and PG hostels for male and female students, as well as a residential hostel complex for male and female nurses and staff. All of the hostels have R.O pure water and power 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, the AIIMS hostels have a canteen and a mess. Cafeteria & Sports:

About Facilities:

Mangalagiri All India Institute of Medical Sciences has its own hospital block with a built-up area of 93,532 sq.mt and a capacity of 960 beds as well as 24 operating theatres to treat patients. The AIIMS Mangalagiri hospital brings together the best medical minds and a devoted team of doctors to deliver the best possible care to those who have been afflicted.

Initially, the hospital was run out of Vijayawada's Siddhartha government medical college and hospital. OPD services were launched in the Mangalagiri campus in Guntur in March of this year. Approximately 2,030 outpatients are treated each month at the AIIMS Mangalagiri. Both inpatients and outpatients are treated at the AIIMS hospital, which offers a wide range of treatments.

Inpatient and outpatient treatment, intensive care, specialty and super speciality care, AYUSH, and other medical services are provided by AIIMS Mangalagiri. The department of general medicine, general surgery, Gynaecology & obstetrics, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, ENT, ophthalmology, dermatology, psychiatry, dentistry, anesthesiology, and community and family medicine in the AIIMS Mangalagiri hospital provide the following multi-specialty services to these outpatients.

Student Support:

Anti- Ragging: - Any disorderly behaviour, whether via words said or written, or by an act, that has the effect of taunting, treating, or dealing a fresher or junior student with rudeness.

Health Care Services: - Medical services range from simple cold, virus, and minor injury treatment at less complete institutions to comprehensive lab tests, X-rays, specialists, and pharmacies at the most comprehensive centers. Counseling services are available in many campus health Programmes.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counselling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. Or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.
