College Description

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur

is a famous government college that was founded in 2012. The Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, established AIIMS Jodhpur as one of the SIX NEW AIIMS under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) with the goal of redressing regional inequalities in quality health care in the country and self-sufficiency and adequacy in medical education with qualifications and higher education qualifications. PMSSY intends to create six additional AIIMS as centres in underserved parts of the country. These institutions are based on the original All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, which offers medical education to undergraduate and postgraduate students in all branches and related fields, as well as nurse training and emergency services, in order to bring together the highest level of staff training institutions in all branches of health care in one location. The National Medical Committee has authorised this medical college, which is associated with the statutory Autonomous, AIIMS (NMC).

Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

This medical facility is located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan's blue city.
