Dr. A.C.Shanmugam created ACS Medical College, which is one of the most prestigious medical colleges in Tamil Nadu, having opened its doors in 1956. The institution is dedicated to teaching quality as well as research and development in an ever-increasing way. The college has a distinct objective in life: "to be a premier university that gives access to excellent education, research, and service to the people of India and internationally." Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET).

The ACS Medical College is located in Chennai, Tamilnadu's capital. The college is situated on many acres of land and is surrounded by lush flora. Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
