Admission Eligibility:

Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). It is also mandatory for students to take the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) .

Admission Eligibility:

A student seeking admission to a post-graduate programme must have earned an MBBS from a recognised university. Then, as per Section 10 (D) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single admission test to various MD/MS Courses.

Infrastructure:

AVMC features four gallery-style lecture halls with air conditioning. Three of them have a capacity of 180 pupils, while the fourth has a capacity of 250. Each lecture hall is equipped with its own audio visual equipment, such as an LCD projector, an OHP, and a slide projector. Individual tables and benches are available. Two demo halls, each with a capacity of 75 students, are available to all departments. They have an LCD projector and an OHP projector.

Library:

The library of AVMC Aarupadai Veedu Medical College is one of the most well-equipped and large in the region. We have 12,950 books and 100 international and Indian journals in our library. The library includes internet, Wi-Fi, and audio-visual equipment to aid study. This institute has a working E-learning centre with 30 systems. For the convenience of employees and students, the campus is entirely Wi-Fi equipped. Our theatre has seating for 750 people and is equipped with cutting-edge theatre equipment such as projection.

About Hospital:

On the campus of Aarupadai Veedu Medical College, there are separate dormitories for males and girls. It features well-equipped rooms with all modern amenities, a sanitary mess, excellent meals, and safe drinking water. Security is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with adequate hostels and CCTV cameras installed. Full-time monitoring and care to ensure student safety.

On campus, we offer separate hostel facilities with adequate lodging and dining amenities for post-graduate pg students, residents, and nurses. Inside the hostel campus, there are both indoor and outdoor games.

Health Care Services: - Medical services range from simple cold, virus, and minor injury treatment at less complete institutions to comprehensive lab tests, X-rays, specialists, and pharmacies at the most comprehensive centers. Counseling services are available in many campus health Programmed.

Counselling Service: - The 'Counseling Service' is for persons who are experiencing emotional or behavioural issues. or addiction, or certain health concerns such as HIV/AIDS, but the fact is that people of all types seek Counselling, and this does not imply that they are "crazy" or "weak."

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.

How to reach us:

Aarupadai Veedu Medical College is located in Puducherry Kirumampakkam. The Puducherry to Cuddalore route (NH-45A) connects Kirumampakkam to the rest of the world. Kirumampakkam is a tiny hamlet in the Bahour taluk of Puducherry, India's Union Territory. It is 15 kilometres from Puducherry on the Cuddalore road.

The Kirumampakkam bus stop was 1.8 kilometres from the Aarupadai Veedu Medical College, and the journey took one hour. This medical college is 13.6 kilometres from the Pondicherry train station.
